We've had very good luck with a DIY coat hanger antenna. You can find plans all over the internet.

Couple that with a small in-line amplifier Amazon Clicky (only if the antenna struggles by itself) and you should have a solid setup.

X = split end (widest wide receiver, usually on the LOS)
Z = flanker (wide receiver, usually off the line of scrimmage to allow motion)
S = slot receiver
Y = tight end
IMO opinion if a player cannot earn significant playing time at VT it is very unlikely they will become a professional football player, and their degree becomes one of the most significant things they get out of school. I think a degree form VT would help an athlete more later in life than playing for a less prestigious academic institution and going into the job market with a degree from them.
While I wholeheartedly agree, I think you have to really really really love the game to live the student athlete lifestyle but not play. It's not easy. Your choices are to suck it up and get your degree, or go to a college where you'll have more playing time (and enjoy your life more) but get a lesser degree.
Maybe not a perfect parallel, but I once worked a job that truly hated. It sucked the life out of me. If that's how you feel about not starting, then I understand the transfer.
