Like in typical sod fashion, or something different? Doesn't it still have to develop roots in the dirt at BMS? I assume it be like playing on a rug on a wood floor if you threw down sod and played football on it too soon after.
I for real don't know if these worries are legitimate. I do know that injuries could derail this season real quick if we get to many of them or if certain players get hurt.
Hold on to that and enjoy it. My family Hokie was my mom who passed four years back. Those are the memories that stick with you!

Is anybody else worried the field might not be in great condition for football? I have a fear of players blowing out knees because the grass doesn't have a well established root system. Does TKP have any turf experts? I'm curious if there's a realistic time frame in place. Unless they're just going to use artificial turf, but that seems like it would be expensive for a field that will only see 2 games.
Yeah, I'm getting more and more antsy about the game. It's getting worse on social media now that uniform was revealed and the race is over. I've already been sent 3 different versions of Blaney's car wrecking. I mean, I get that they're confident, and why wouldn't they be? They're stacked this year. But the arrogance is unreal. Shouldn't they know better than to trash talk after karma has found them time and time again? They literally have no doubt that they'll win. I'm just praying for a win. I have to live with these people, and they won't be as classy as we were after the 37-14 W in Atlanta in 2009.

Actually, if your looking for correlations, you will find them with the current stripes on the uniform. VT fell from national prominence with the standardization of the stripes on the shoulders. So, anything other than those hideous stripes is definitely a plus.

I just made the terrible mistake of watching this before trying to go to bed and then I had to look up some of the best Enter Sandman videos and then I had to listen to the Victory March and Tech Triumph and now it looks like I won't actually be going to sleep any time soon because I want to run through a brick wall and stomp on some Flames, Vols, Eagles, Pirates, Tar Heels, Orangemen, Hurricanes, Panthers, Blue Devils, Yellow Jackets, Leprechauns, BooHoos, Tigers, a rising or falling of the sea that somehow gets equated to an elephant, and some Wolverines. In that order with no interruptions.
Guys, brilliant job. In contrast to some hype videos that are just highlight cut-ups, you guys always put such great effort into the artistry. And this year, you've outdone yourselves. There is a real narrative here, one that builds into the familiar fun-through-the-wall-f*ck-the-world-we're-kicking-your-asses feeling we love to reach by the end.

I have been in a conference all day, and had to spend 15.5 agonizing hours before I could connect to the crappy hotel wifi and watch this. When I get home, I'm going to put this on repeat and enjoy it in all its glory.
