There was nothing unexpected from this group. Tyrod Taylor played only the first drive of the game, completing 2-of-3 passes for 7 yards... Fourth-round pick Cardale Jones replaced Manuel in the third quarter and was inconsistent, completing 11-of-21 passes for 162 yards and a late-game 4-yard touchdown to Jarrett Boykin.

Logan Thomas is a greal example where he was force to pull the ball down and run for his life or try to force a pass because he had so little time in the 'pocket' (on a regular basis).
Over the three game where Coale was the punter, he averaged 45.7 yards per punt on 11 punts and had a long of 61. Those seem like good punting numbers to me.

He punted well in that game! He just didn't run from the punter position very well.
Didn't see any issues, he had 3 tackles, a sack a few hurry ups, and would have gotten another hurry up to end the game but was held by the OT and it didn't get called.

Bingo, we have loyal fans, loyal alumni, but the giving part has been only somewhat loyal. Sands and Babcock hit the reset button, and sure enough some of the perenial givers got upset. It was much needed. We need to compete. And that starts with us, the alumni, the fans, students and players all competing and succeeding.
(Sigh)
