What is a pie or a cake but not a bunch of things added together. You mean to tell me that a pie crust, which is really the base of a pie and what would be considered the closest to vanilla ice cream, is better than vanilla ice cream?

seeing rumblings elsewhere that shibest isn't too pleased with Ludwig and it is a major concern for VT.. hence the Slye question

I don't know about being completely "interpersonal dumb", but he was a terrible teacher. Those awesome behind the scenes videos proved that. I made a similar comment back then and got eaten alive for it, but I still stand by it. Guy has no idea how to properly teach his concepts. To your point though, a good teacher has good interpersonal skills and uses those to adjust their teaching to the student.

With the lack of playing teams from the other division, and the other conferences going to 9 games (harder to schedule P5), I'm thinking 9+1 is the way to go for most of the conference. It just means the few teams with permanent SEC rivalries [may] have a tougher schedule in years they play ND.

And as mentioned previously, ACC still has the option of restructuring divisions or how crossover games are handled.

I mean I see your point but as a lifelong Skins fan the work was done on offense by the Hogs and Sanders/Monk/Clark. That's why we won three SBs with different QBs and RBs.
You could have put Trent Dilfer at QB and Michael Pittman at RB and won a SB. Sorry, bad example. No, wait, perfect example.

If memory serves me correctly, Mitchell Ludwig was working at punter last year and continues to do so this year. I'd bet money we see Ludwig punting this year.

You may have a point with vanilla. But Mayflower Cookies -n- Cream, just about anything from Ben and Jerry's, and Mellow Buttercup Cherries Jubilee stand on their own just fine.

Nice, Still sounds like a prove it deal with buyouts after year one and two though. Will have to see what the guarantees are as well. Regardless if he is smart with his money he is set for life and he is only 27, good on you!

I'd like to see what the problems are here. I think if the ADs would come out and say, "This is how I voted: [vote] These are the benefits we will realize if we [go to 9/stay at 8], and these are the problems if we [go to 9/stay at 8]." I think we could optimize this pretty well if we understood the P&L, C/B, etc

In the service we call that "congratulations for doing your job, now get back to work".

(I assume you were /s but I had to leave this here anyway; my statement is also partly /s)
