So I'm curious if anyone wants to split an AirB&B in South Bend.

Not sure what the plans are yet for myself and DadOnATreadmill but at the moment I'm casting a wide net. We only need enough space for 2 but I think the better deals appear when you have a group of six or so.

They don't get paid when they do that, and not all of them have budgeted well enough to maintain their lifestyles without their checks. The NFL brass and the owners' pockets run much deeper and can keep getting paid for awhile. Make no mistake, the players do not have the leverage they need.

I have been pretty dismissive of the Bills GM. I am still not sure why this is a good deal for the Bills, but perhaps if Tyrod were a top5 or top10 QB, this would be a good deal for Buffalo (to exercise the option). So the Bills have a year to try Tyrod out, Tyrod gets paid for this and last year, gets to feel like Buffalo wants him long term while he plays for a team that has gone backwards on the WR talent front from last year. If Tyrod does just so so they renegotiate. If Tyrod blows the roof off the place, the Bills exercise the option.

If that is how this thing played out it seems like a good deal from Whaley and a good deal from Tyrod's agent. Neither got what they really wanted, but they got to slap backs express love for one another and exchange gifts. When you're not getting hitched but still interested, that's not a bad outcome.

wow, vultures come out really fast.

I know you're being sarcastic but I hope our program does not do this. Let the man enjoy his long overdue reward. Give it time and see if he does it on his own.

I agree with the second paragraph 100%, however...

If other coaches can trade on the storied history of their program's (Notre Dame, Michigan, Bama, etc) then we should be able to as well. We might not be the same caliber history wise but recent street cred is always good for the "what have you done lately?" crowds.

As a child growing up in Virginia who never lived in a neighborhood with a pool, I can't say I relate.

Had a lot of classmates who swam for their neighborhoods though. I thought it was pretty cool for them.

Someone here on TKP put me on to Chromecast a couple of years ago when several Hokie games were shown on ESPN3.

I don't remember who it was, but that member changed my life forever. Thank you, fellow TKPer.

This may seem like a non-serious question but I actually want to hear this said on video and see the reaction. Your mission should you choose to accept is to ask:

Coach Fuente, in which quarter of the Liberty game will Sam Rogers pussy touchdowns not be denied?

What does the Depth at Linebacker look like?

What is the progress of the receivers behind Ford and Phillips? Same with Defensive Ends?

I'll get a good look at the kid tonight. I tape for my old high schools football team and they are headed over to Honaker to scrimmage.

Update: Just got home from the scrimmage. Kid can flat out kick the football. Didn't see him miss in warmups. Reps from each side of the field from 35+. He drilled a 52 yarder into the wind near the end of the scrimmage. Also, second hand talk was he had been waiting on VT to offer for a while and was really excited about it. Would prefer a scholarship somewhere but I don't know enough about kicking to know if he warrants one. He looks rock solid kicking the ball though. Boomed a 45 yard punt into the wind as well.
