I think Tyrod hosting camps in the 747 will have a bigger impact on recruiting than him getting a lucrative extension. Of course, both in combination are even better.

a)i'm very happy for tyrod and think it's well deserved
b) it's good he got it now because if he doesn't produce at as high a level/gets hurt over the next two years he won't get nearly as much
and
c) (this is more in general than specifically at you) where is this narrative coming from that tyrod was being disrespected/grossly underpaid? he has had one good year in his career, and he got a significant pay increase following that one year. he got paid what his services were worth last year (last time the bills renegotiated a QB1's contract after 8 games, i believe it was fitzpatrick who was terrible for the rest of the time). he performed and then got rewarded (which is why he signed with buffalo over denver)

and to answer the main question this certainly doesn't hurt VT's recruiting

Well Tom Gabbard hinted at the possibility of that at Lane tonight at the Pulaski County Pig Out. This year alcohol will be available in the south end zone boxes. And he hinted at it being stadium wide as long it is received well.

Swim team was so much fun as a kid. Hanging out with friends at a pool or lake waiting for your event. It was a great way to spend the summer and winter. Swimmers are a fun loving bunch who don't embarrass easily and accept everyone. The bus to meets in high school was like a party. It made the football bus feel like a church. In high school a few meatheads would try to pick on few younger swimmers but it never lasted long. The ladys loved the swimmers and in high school the ladys had all the power.

I swam on swim teams from 6yrs old to 18yrs old. Summer swim team at a lake (GO MUSKRATS!!) YMCA team in winter. High school team in winter. Tried a USA swim team but hated the amount of work. 3am in a pool before school...F that.

This is a better write up than most VT sites will give the LU game.

As a JMU alum who fell in love with Blacksburg long before heading to Harrisonburg lemme tell ya. An upset will send you into a vortex of inner conflict that will irk you for years.

No leverage? They are the employees. If they all walked out who are you going to replace them with, and who's going to pay to watch it? They have a ton of leverage if they went on strike and held strong. The trick is holding strong.

Whether Bud is actually implementing that much new stuff in coverage or if it's more returning to the coverage/disguise capabilities VT had in past successful secondaries

Bud's biggest surprises of the freshmen class, thoughts on back up mikes and back up safeties

Cornelson- Tailbacks update, Deshaun Mcclease, back up TE's, and freshmen

Shibest- confidence in returners and return units. Maybe ask about how in-game decisions work about going for blocks etc.

Re: incoming athletes that could play either side- how those decisions are going currently or are made typically

Kam may not be swaying people directly to VT, but you can bet he's a large chunk of whatever sales pitch they're using; along with Fullers, Flowers, D. Hall, Macho, Worilds, etc. Brand.
