well I get what you're saying about blocking. And I agree that it is important. But I think there is more to the offense that necessitates good QB play. We're probably both wasting time debating which position (and their responsibilities) is most important for this offense. We both know that it's not all about one player or position group. Everybody needs to play well together. I am optimistic that this offense will grow quickly and be pretty darn good by 2017

Raymon really wanted to play for Bud. I have always thought his best position would be wide receiver. Other than VT, all of his major offers (Miami, Ohio State) were to play receiver.

Ask Mook and/or Deablo about building a pipeline from the Triad, if they talk to Hooker about it, if they influenced him picking VT, if they actively talk up VT to other players in the area, etc.

How many QB's will travel with the team this year?

Is Joey Slye really getting a look at punter and if so hows that going?

Has JF or any new staff member had a RAIL yet?

With the amount that our QBs have been practicing those quick screens, I'm confident one of them will be capable. Is that presumptive? Maybe. But these are high percentage throws that should be routine under the right guidance. I'm not sold that guys like Bradshaw and Carroll and the freshmen can execute their blocks consistently. Yes there is more than WR blocking to this offense, but our oline is good, our playmakers are as dynamic as ever, and QB play should be simplified.

Are these preseason games only on in the teams markets?

NFL preseason games are broadcast like regular season MLB games...mostly on regional sports channels or local network affiliates. Every once in a while, one of the major networks will pick one or two up for a national broadcast (like Cowboys at Rams on ESPN on Saturday).

And, of course, NFL Network airs all 65 64 games, most on tape delay, but they usually pick one in each major timeslot to air live.

Ha ha! If they're misbehavin', they're gonna be stuffed inside the luggage and checked at the gate. Pick 'em up in baggage claim after the flight. Every once in a while I think I hear muffled screams from down in the cargo hold...

compare your starting point at Memphis versus what you're starting with at VT. Based on that starting point, what are your expectations for the season? What goals have you set for the coaching staff?

David "Cassel Climber" Wilson and Sam "Don't Deny His Touchdowns" Rogers are still my favorite Hokies of character from the 2004-Present era.

Wow, that's heinous. From the article:

Our complaint alleges that Robertson and Vaughn preyed on elderly victims and others who placed their trust in these individuals, only to have their savings. stolen
