Yeah I get all that. I'm an 02 grad so I've seen the many disasters that Pitt has caused us. However, it boggles my mind because, to me at least, I still see Pitt as a team we SHOULD beat. We don't always, but I rarely view them as a better team.
Like, ND this year (based off last year) is a better team than us. I expect a tough win or a loss. Clemson, is a very good team. If we played them I'd see the probability of a loss more than Liberty.
Now I know we can lose any game and that's why we play, however there are some teams I look at and say "We should win that game." Not that Pitt isn't a tough team or doesn't have some good players, but I still don't see them as a team that should beat us, ever. I see them more of an ECU type team.
We should beat Pitt every year. We don't always for whatever reason, but I can't remember a time looking at Pitt and say "Oh man Pitt is good this year. Probably a loss." We say it's a loss because we have lost games to them that we had no business losing, including the last two years.
That's what I mean by that. Now, mid-season if we are sucking and they are pounding people I may have a different opinion. But pre-season, I always see us beating Pitt.
Tennessee isn't going to "pound the rock" when they're in a hole. VT is going to take a 2 score lead into half time and force Dobbs to beat Bud's defense with his arm. It's not going to be a pretty game for your vols

It honestly depends, in Knoxville it happens sometimes, mainly because traffic is a complete cluster f@*k. Construction on literally every corner and traffic patters that sometimes change twice per year lead to that. I have zero clue how this game will go as far as that. Im guessing most will stay just to soak up the one time chance to see a game like this. We're at a crossroads fan base wise. There is a group of old blue hair donors that would rather be anywhere but a football game, but for some reason still go, and a group of "younger" (45 and younger) that are the diehards and will stick it out to the end regardless.

That opening scene though, what school is going to sign a kid who is out fighting like that on the field? Other takeways, that field is impressive for a school in the middle of nowhere. Seeing Clint Tricket as a coach is weird.

And any of the lots that are BMS owned typically hold traffic for an hour after the race is over so everyone has a chance to walk to their cars. Not sure if they will do this for the game, but don't expect to get a jump if you are in a BMS lot. When you see 160k people leaving, you'll understand. Even an hour after the race there are thousands milling around in the road.
He was way under-rated, so he really fits in with the rest of the crew at VT/TKP/VT community.
Maybe they can borrow a copy from UVa, as they seem to have some floating around.

To be fair, by then they will have concluded that it's not fair to punish the current staff and players.
Oh, and the fans. Don't forget the fans who would be unfairly punished if there were any repercussions from past acts on the part of the administration.
They will have had time to think about what they've done, and after all, isn't that enough?
So if the school decides to voluntarily reduce their scholarships for a couple of years, I'm sure they'll let bygones be bygones well before 2029.

There's a huge lot on the back of 394 that's free (usually is for the races) that's a decent place. The best hing to do, if you can, is if you have a friend in the area, park in the grass on 394 in the direction you'll be leaving early that morning. That way you can have a friend drop you off at the front. And just go to your car after the game or if you want to leave a little early during the blowout you can get a head start on traffic headed back north.

Oh - reading comprehension 101.
I wouldn't say all Arizona has poorly planned roads. The Phoenix metro area for this most part is laid out in a big N/S-E/W grid, its really hard to get lost there unless you really have no idea where you are going.
I just used to travel there a lot for work, and if I was visiting a client in the east part of town, it took practically as long to get from the I-10 to east Tucson as it did to get from Phoenix to Tucson along the 10 period.

You are right in that Glennon and Holt were the same class and graduated after Tyrod's Soph year. Howrver in Tyrod's Jr season of 2009 the other QBs were rFr JuJu Clayton, Sr Jeff Beyer, and TE Greg Boone. So yeah depth was potentially a huge problem if we had an injury.
