While I like the "Surrender Cobra" (Saddest UVA fan), nothing should be bobbling there. It just lays their, helpless.

Seems like a big "if" with his problems off the field that Fuente would even consider him. It concerns me that Fuente seems so equivocal about Evans and Motley and there is an impending announcement in the near future. I hope it is an unrelated coincidence.
When has Fuente been equivocal about Evans and Motley? He's given the same answer to every reporter who has asked him about the quarterback competition. Evans and Motley lead the competition. If he named a started on Tuesday, there wouldn't be a competition. He's pushing the players. This is a good thing.

Less than 48 hours after 247Sports broke the news of Florida quarterback Treon Harris transferring, colleges have reached out inquiring interest.
Southern Miss, Texas State and Georgia State have all spoken to Harris' family. Several FCS programs including Florida A&M, Howard and Hampton have also made contact.
Many more programs — Minnesota, Kansas, SMU, Eastern Michigan, Jacksonville State, East Carolina, Coastal Carolina and Mercer, according to sources — have interest and have requested Harris' release so they have the option to make contact.
Harris and his family plan to gauge all of the programs who have serious interest by Monday, then set up a visit or two with the goal being Harris enrolling in August

Since he's a walk-on, he's not going to enroll early and pay his own tuition just to maybe get on the team, he was going to be enrolling at the beginning of the normal fall semester and probably attend camp. I wonder if the coaches knew ahead of time, though.

Nothing with a UVA logo will ever get closer to my house than a "wipe your feet here" doormat.
In the distant past we had a cornerback hit a receiver so hard and sudden that while he was knocked out of bounds both his shoes remained inbounds where he had been standing. For some reason, I smile Everytime I think about that. It was like one of those Wiley coyote cartoon moments with the road runner. The cornerback might have been Ike Carlton.
P.S. - That number 5 is a picture of my favorite UVA moment. Gotta give you that one.
