That's fine, but even Goodell's own investigator (inherent bias) could only get to the point of saying he "probably" knew about it. That's doesn't even meet the lowest of burdens of proof.
Improperly inflated or not, lying or not...does anyone else find it absurd that the Supreme Court is even an option to get involved with this?
For punishment purposes, it would be better for them to stop at 4Q! Then run back down.
If you don't like change become a firefighter. Where the motto is 200 years of service unencumbered by progress.
Quarterbacks and receivers benefit from completions.
The question is whether they tampered with the balls, and then lied about it.
He also said he wasn't going to punish them because they weren't charged by the authorities for any crimes. Which is awesome, once you remember the reasoning the DA gave to not charging them was because they are football players.
What if I told you that this punishment had little to do with Tom Brady, deflated footballs, or cell phones, and everything to do with Spygate in 2007? That the Patriots cheated, everyone knew it, and they got off easy, which the rest of the league did not like? That there was an understanding amongst the rest of the league that should they ever be caught cheating again, the hammer would be dropped? ESPN 30 for 30 presents: Karma.
I was living in ATL at the time and went to the game. I had a great time!
(GT atmosphere is god awful)
you misspelled Mihota.
my advice for them? Just look down. Don't look up til you see 5Q in stencils next to your feet. Then turn around and try your best not to lose your footing on the way down. Rinse and repeat.
Off track betting. Minimum bets are likely $2, and you can chill and watch the pony's. I know its not for everyone, but its a good way to be entertained without spending a ton of coin.
Wiles really wants to move Mihota back inside. If Dooley breaks out since he won't be stuck behind Ekanem I would expect Mihota to solidify his position as a tackle.
I would look for Dooley to start opposite of Ekanem.
I'm here for the Clash of Clans threads.
My best advice is to drive east.
Glad that's settled. I would wager there was a lot of behind the scenes punishment going on that we'll never hear about. Those guys may be pretty familiar with the steps in Lane Stadium...
As an aside,
Mihota has been a consistently solid player for Wiles over the years, but concerns over his speed have not dissipated.
This has always been something that has bothered me. Mihota isn't necessarily "fast", but he is strong. Instead of pure speed, he was bull-rushing guys into the backfield. He sure seemed to be affecting plays by collapsing his side of the line.
The receivers (if anyone) probably benefit it from it more than the QB. If you have ever played with a real game ball, you know they are pretty rock hard, so whether it's deflated or not, it's gonna hurt like a bitch when it's cold.
This is where the real benefit is. A QB as skilled as Tom Brady can adjust his throws for the underinflated ball. The biggest benefit comes in ability to grip the ball more securely, reducing the likelihood of the ball bouncing off a reciever's hands, or getting fumbled during the snap or handoff.
having lived in EAJ for 3 years, that would make me sad. But then they've already gutted the dorm since I've lived there and I can remember walking out of west AJ and seeing the practice soccer fields where cochrane, student services, career services, new hall west, and harper are. So I guess change is inevitable
You're forgetting that in addition to the 18 reds and 18 blacks, there are two greens, 0 and 00. So betting on red or black gives you even money payouts on a 47.4% chance of winning (18/38), giving the house a 2.6% edge, which is one of the worst games in the house for the player, unless they happen to be one of the very few places that offers roulette with only one green space.
Duly noted. Been thinking about renting a bod guard for my grandparents. Do you think Chris Ellis is available? Pretty sure Eers fear him.
His explanation was a little confusing to me too, but the gist of Free Bet Blackjack is that you can split or double down (doubling only allowed for free if you have 9,10, or 11) with house money. The one-more-card rule applies only to doubling down, as it would in an ordinary game. I've played this game on my phone before but never seen it spread at a real casino. Sounds interesting.
I remember reading last year that they thought he might grow in to D-line.
When did Tremaine reach 6'5"? Good lord that's a tall LB. If he adds 50 lbs, he'd be on the Oline.
