My first game as a kid was 1967 and this conjures up memories of those days. They need to bring back those horns too. Could be a little earlier but I'd say the Claiborne era with a big question mark(?) Nice find and thanks for sharing.

Can't believe they brought my favorite old mascot back, bought this back in 2008 and have no idea how old it is.

I think we will see a much more gap sound front four this year than last year. I don't think we will see as many dynamic run-for-loss type plays though. Ultimately, success will depend on someone from the group of Ekanem, Mihota, Baron, Williams, Gaines, Hill, Dooley, Settle, Walker, and Sobczak stepping up and winning one on one battles. There wasn't enough of that last year (Ekanem stood out as the guy who most consistently beat blocks to make plays.)

Consider the development cycle... Gaines had a full year of practice, while Hill was getting his first contact in over a year. Hill was also playing the stud side, which requires an alignment more as a 7 tech without the benefit of the wide rush angle. And, Gaines took a big step forward as well- that is a good thing, not a bad thing.

Come on. He would have looked all kinds of silly committing to VT in a lambo with FSU stickers. Of course that's the reason he picked them!

I'm not sure what will solve the recruiting problems at VT. But I'm pretty sure he didn't choose FSU just because he got to ride in a Lamborghini.

When Baron was being recruited and then grayshirted, folks were kind of down on him. I wasn't because, despite not jumping off the screen athletically or size-wise, the kid was productive. I think way too often, productivity is overlooked in the recruiting process. I am thrilled that he has had such an excellent career.

Was driving thru Cambridge, MD today (I work for the city) and saw VA Vt tags "SNDMN1" Thought there's no way the Prez is in town, but saw the owner standing outside. Had to stop to say hi to another Hokie!
