$5k pocketed a richer. Wonder if extra is being charged for authentic saliva.
Urban Meyer is an interesting example. Even though it is his offense, they won a title with Tom Herman as OC. Once Herman left for Houston, the offense, especially Barrette and Jones, weren't as efficient. Cornelson is going to be just as important to our offenses success.
I squat a couple of times a day, but only when I have to.
I didn't begin watching Hokie football seriously until 2004 when I was in the 1st grade, so my answers will be 2004 and on:
Miami 2004: watched it in the family room.
Miami 2005: watched it in Blacksburg. Kept referencing the 2004 Georgia Tech game to heighten everyone's spirits around me, even though we were losing like 27-0 until Marcus Vick finally managed to do something right for the good guys.
LSU 2007: family room again. Stayed up to see what Tyrod Taylor was about, and then went to bed about halfway through the 4th. Maybe the most disappointing game I have ever seen as a Hokie fan.
UVA 2011: family room with my crazy ex-girlfriend. In the fourth, I vividly remember her saying, "Aw, I feel bad for Virginia."
Hmmm, let's see. Souvlaki's, my apartment, my buddy's house, another buddy's house, my apartment, I was there.
Can anyone tell who gets run over or knocked down in the clip? It looked like Devin Wilson to me.
Best Case: 9-3 with an ACC appearance and a solid bowl somewhere
Worst Case: 5-7 with no improvement on offense and an averagish defense.
Biggest thing for me next season is that the team improves it's level of play. If we go 7-5 with close losses to UNC Tenn ND Miami Pitt (who I think are all around top 25 caliber) I think its a far better season than last year. I think a good goal is to finish top 35 in F/+
January 3, 2000: Sugar Bowl: VT vs FSU (National Championship) -- Still in high school, this was actually the first VT game I watched, but I went to bed after the third quarter, because it was played on the first night back to school.
November 1, 2003: Miami vs VT - I was there. Couldn't hear myself think walking off the field after pregame. Stood in the front row of the south end zone.
December 4, 2004: VT vs Miami -- I remember watching this one on TV on upper quad and seeing the team dance on the U in the center of the field.
November 5, 2005: Miami vs VT -- Same as 2003, except it wasn't quite as loud.
September 8, 2007: VT vs LSU -- at home, watching with my dad.
November 26, 2011: VT vs LOLUVa (38-0, bro) -- I was either at my in-laws or my buddy's house.
78 days until Liberty, 84 days until Kenny Chesney and 85 days until the Battle at Bristol. Already getting fired up!
There, there, there, there, there, there

California-based SCP Auctions, though, seems confident the once spit-covered mouth protector will fetch a handsome sum, telling ESPN that it's expected to sell for $5,000.
An enterprising fan reportedly snatched up the mouth guard off the floor near the Warriors bench after a game this season
January 3, 2000: Sugar Bowl: VT vs FSU (National Championship) In the end zone stands-almost got in a fight with an obnoxious FSU guy because I was similarly obnoxious with my VT turkey caller.
November 1, 2003: Miami vs VT: In the stands with one of my friends who was/is a Buckeye fan-he still says it's the loudest he has ever heard a football stadium.
December 4, 2004: VT vs Miami: In a bar, cheering on Randall (notice the transition from being at the stadium to having young children with weekend activities/games and NOT being in the stadium..)
November 5, 2005: Miami vs VT: In a bar, drinking heavily.
September 8, 2007: VT vs LSU: In my living room, feeling pretty sad, thinking WTF? (However, it clearly revealed my inability to be unbiased about my Hokies as I watched the entire game thinking-'we can come back and win this thing!')
November 26, 2011: VT vs LOLUVa (38-0, bro): Watching in my living room. As awesome as that was, losing to Clemson TWICE in a season badly (I live in S. Kakalaki-ouch) and apparently having some controversy in the bowl game (I still have yet to watch the game-I just can't) overshadows that otherwise magnificent season for me.
I question UEFA and French security during these games. Numerous games where flares and fireworks have been let into the stadium, several games where large fights have broken out and numerous games where fans have gotten into the pitch. Not a great look, especially with what happened in Paris in November.
That's about right. I think our best team is:
A) better than anyone we play in the ACC,
B) 7-10 points worse than ND in South Bend
C) 3 points +\- on UT,
D) 7-10 points worse than Clem/FSU,
E) young enough to be lose a game we shouldn't.
So I could see a season where we lose to ND and ACCCG, lose by a FG to UT and lose a rando.
The Giants already have enough TEs. Malleck is doing well from what I have read.
January 3, 2000: Sugar Bowl: VT vs FSU (National Championship) - N/A
November 1, 2003: Miami vs VT - N/A
December 4, 2004: VT vs Miami - N/A
November 5, 2005: Miami vs VT - N/A
September 8, 2007: VT vs LSU - In my friend's first floor dorm room in O'Shag watching on TV. It was rough, but we saw the debut of T-Mobile. That was the lone bright spot.
November 26, 2011: VT vs LOLUVa (38-0, bro) - In the stands of Lane North celebrating gleefully! Surrounded by a bunch of other Hokies with some hoos sprinkled in. Because, of course!
wow....for someone with no dog in this fight I have to say that Curry did nothing wrong (until throwing his mouth guard and shouting profanities) and Lebron flopped like an Oscar winner. I think blatant flops like that should be penalized. That, to me, just deteriorates the sanctity of the game.
I can squat. with like...dumbbells
appropriate gif choice
Sorry man, but to say were even in the same ballpark just isnt true. If we play argentina id be surprised if we win 3. I just dont want anyones expectations to get to high and then to be disappointed because by all accounts this has been a VERY succesful tournament
We keep having these kids show up getting signed by top clubs and we're kinda like? Who? How old? Chelsea... Borrussia Dortmund ... Arsenal (not on the top team)... Bournemouth (not quite a top club but EPL)...etc..
I love that these kids have found their way to Europe and are finding ways to be successful. That is hope for the future. The more kids in these spots... the more likely a couple blow up like Wood. Thats how you end up with a good national team, and a team with enough depth to survive the card situation.
Kills me that our best gets developed elsewhere but eventually perhaps we'll have some coaches who churn out superstars. IMHO we've had and have coaches who churn out great teams (not international level teams)... they get the best jimmies joes and put them into a decent system. Show me the coach who starts putting kids into the Champions League, etc, etc. consistently. Thats when the youth system in the US will be healthy. As of now for aspiring US soccer players... get on a boat and find a team in Europe... listen, work hard and see if you can't find your dream job.
Ok, I'll start. Living room, living room, living room, living room, living room, living room.
Does anyone else follow Skip Bayless on Twitter, just to watch a complete meltdown take place on the TL when LeBron James has a good game?
I have never seen a man with so much hate in his heart for one particular player, JUST FOR BEING A PLAYER. People didn't like Kobe because of the incident with the young girl. Understandable. People didn't like Michael Vick because of the dogfighting. Understandable. But this man lives to hate LeBron James, JUST BECAUSE HE IS GREAT AT WHAT HE DOES.
Can't believe that idiot is about to get paid $5 million per year.

He ain't going to be the backup. Nassib is the solid backup. Might be a PS player that could be groomed to be the backup. As of right now I don't even see him more then camp fodder.
Nassib's contract is up next year, so maybe he sticks on the team somewhere (PS) and wins backup duty next year.
