Most talented us team ever is a stretch. Bradleys world cup team that lost to ghana has that title still in my opinion and the one before that was pretty talented too. Im not crazy over donovan but you cant question the dudes talented. Beasley, altidore, bradley, howard, oneywu (ac milan 15 million prospect)

And to say argentinas defense is suspect isnt fair either. Otamendi is a really good center back and so is garay, the weakest point is hands down their keeper. If we win its going to be against the run of play. That team is loaded from front to back, their midfield, their back line is all REALLY good. I have seen some REALLY promising things this tournament from our team, and am really pleased with the youth movement, I just dont think were there yet. I like nagbe and zusi but they just arent of the same caliber player as di maria messi banega or higuain. To think so is kinda biased.

As far as the moral victories point there sure are. People were saying klinnsman needed to go before the tournament. Do you hear anyone saying that now? No, that by definition is a victory in my books. We preformed well enough to navigate out of a tough group despite an early setback and have shown once again we are no minnow and as a result nobody thinks our coach and team are deserving of being cut anymore

January 3, 2000: Sugar Bowl: VT vs FSU (National Championship)- I was at home watching it on a brand new 32 inch million pound panasonic that my dad just bought because we got into the NC. I was only 9 at the time and my brother was a Junior at tech.

*Watched all games after that on that same couch and on the same TV...until...2009*

November 26, 2011: VT vs LOLUVa (38-0, bro)-- was a Junior at tech and had to go home for that weekend but I thoroughly enjoyed watching LOLUVA get their asses handed to them

Not necessarily true. He just killed them off once they had used up their plot pieces for a greater part (aside from rob) deaths and murders usually got a character from one important spot to another one

Thanks, good to know. Was hoping to get some insight into the author's mind, but he seems to use a dart board to make the live and die decisions.

I didn't know I was going to be a Hokie until the year before I started school, but the LSU vs VT game was the first game Virginia Tech played that I attended. Both my parents went to LSU, so at the time, I was pulling for the Tigers.

I wish I would have known at the time that I was going to be a future Hokie.

2011 was my freshman year so I was at the VT vs LOLUVa game having an awesome time!

As of right now the books are behind the show, so we can't tell you.

Ask TKP: Can someone who read the books (that Game of Thrones is based on) please tell me who won out in the end ?I know the show may follow a different path, but I'm just curious how the books turned out.

Most talented team that the U.S. has had ever. Argentina are a very good side. Their attack is the best in the world, but their defense can be quite suspect at times. The narrative that the U.S. are minnows (not saying you said this, but the general interwebz idea is that Argentina are head and shoulders above us) against mighty Argentina just simply isn't true.

Would I put money on us to win, no. Do I think we will win, no. Would I be shocked if we won, no. This team is good and still has yet to allow a goal from the run of play in the tournament.

Sure we have to make some changes due to suspension, but I don't think they'll be THAT big. Think Besler stays at left back, Yedlin gets back in the team, Johnson moves up and takes Wood's spot on the wing, or wide midfielder if we go 4-4-2. Nagbe slots in for Jones and Zusi for Bedoya. The depth of this team is quite good.

This team has done what was expected of them. There are no moral victories here. A win would be massive. A loss disappointing.

Amazing. And nobody saw that beatdown coming, which makes it even more so.

As long as the USA doesn't take a butt-kicking of that magnitude to Argentina, I'll consider advancing further than Mexico the biggest win of this tournament.

I'm a little bummed only because I was thinking USA/Mexico here for 3rd place at University of Phoenix stadium would have been real fun.

But only a little bit disappointed. Still anticipating the US playing again out here and going to go either way.

I think he has one year of practice Squad Time remaining (he was active for first year) as you are allowed 3

Oh boy,El Tri got the shit kicked out of them yesterday.

What a wonderful event that was
