Hey Jurgen. I DARE you.
To be fair were playing Argentina....doesnt matter whose on the field were going to be outclassed, theyre hands down the tournament favorite. The question is if we can get a goal on a break and grit our way to a win.
Losing wood hurts...losing jones hurts A LOT but it at least gives us an excuse to.play pulusic or nagbe. I see a 4-4-2 lineup with beckerman taking Jones's spot and zardes and dempsey up top. Put pulusic and nagbe on the wings. At least yedlin is back. His pace will be HUGE for messi
The Warriors seem unhinged and losing Bogut actually was a blow as well. Bottom line though I think the difference is the Warriors have been missing tons of shots, including a lot of open ones, and the Cavs have started making them. It doesn't hurt to have James who bulls his way to the basket at will, and NBA rules are favorable for that style of play. It is unfortunate that almost none of these games have been worth watching though.
If LeBron plays like this again in Game 7, win or lose the guy has to be MVP right? Unless Steph explodes for 60. I like both players so this series has been fun to watch.

NBA refs are so terrible. But the Warriors have lost their cool completely. Game 7 should be interesting.
And people will still rip Lebron for "reasons". Dude has been beast mode the last 2 games. If he was playing as poorly as Curry in this series he would be getting absolutely killed.
Great win but we need a lot more discipline. Missing Wood, Jones and Bedoya is going to hurt us. Thankfully we get Yedlin back at RB. Besler was good enough at LB tonight so he'll probably play there in the semis which will free up Johnson to play in the midfield.
One big factor and positive for us is that we get two more days of rest and practice than Argentina / Venezuela.
Well, we pulled out the win, but it sure wasn't pretty after the double-red-cards. This is a frustrating win in my opinion. Losing Bedoya and Jones for the semi isn't good, nor was our play super spectacular. Kept losing possession in key situations (looking at you for the most part Bradley). A win is a win though, no matter how you get there, I'd say Copa America has largely been a success for us!

And that game was as stressful as a VT vs. ECU game too.
Well we won, but with all these suspensions, this next game is gonna get messi.
These fouls are so infuriating. Win or lose they are in a bad spot next round, and most completely uncalled for
The discipline of this team is absolute garbage.
So many unnecessary cards the last 2 games. If we get punked because of who isn't playing, we deserve it.
Yep, terrible terrible terrible decision making by a "veteran" of the USMNT. With that said, I'm more worried about not having Bobby Wood. He's done so much right tonight, and in the tournament in general.
As I was typing that, Bedoya got his 2nd yellow, so he's out now.
As I was typing THAT, Ecuador just scored. Where's my beer.
Yup, in San Diego.
I love that we have recruits coming from all over. Great to see Tennessee, Florida, Michigan, and more in action.
No future penalties as far as players on roster so that's good.
Stupid, stupid move by Jones...cannot believe he did that. Now we lose him for the semi-finals if we win.
.....bowling?....
Wow. Systematic.
...violations in football, men's and women's track, men's and women's tennis, women's volleyball, baseball, bowling and softball.
Bradley needs to step it up. Everyone seems to be playing well except him. He's had two awful giveaways and the 2nd one should have been a goal for Ecuador.
Damn. That's the best we've looked in a while. Bobby Wood is so confident with the ball right now, our midfield spacing is solid, our defense has looked good. Let's keep this form for another half.
And it's in f'n yellow....

Good win. As for the fouls... This is concacaf.
Also think Jones got a pretty raw deal. But hey. That first goal... That was a thing of beauty. You want evidence of what Jurgen has brought to our team, there is a bit of it.
