Dotting of the "i" is a good tradition. I like the MV's, but TBDBITL is really a spectacle. the 'shoe was a great atmosphere and the fans were actually quite cordial there despite sitting smack in the middle of the season ticket holder section (and dealing with an epic loss).
OT? McGlock, Osterloh, Nijman, Plantin, Moore. That's the best OT depth I've seen in the last 20 years at VT.
C? Gallo and Smith aren't enough? I think Billy Ray has some experience at C as well.
DE? Ekanem and Mihota the starters, an experienced guy like Dooley returning, young guys like Hill and Gaines ready to go. Even Taylor could factor in. It's not stacked depth, but we've had a lot worse than that before.
LB? Motu backed up by Huelskamp. Edmunds and Moss at Backer. Minor? We've had it worse than that before. Maybe the comment is more about talent than depth. Carter, Belmar and Beckett coming in.
CB? Facyson, Edmunds, Mook, Stroman, Allenye, Johnson, Ladler with Rodgers, Floyd and Quillen coming in this summer. Again, talent maybe is the questions but the depth is playable. (Alexander's assumed out at this point but could return)
WR? The three spring-fresh may be counted on: Kumah, Denmark and Deablo. Patterson (and maybe Rodgers?) joining in the fall. We've got three starters in Ford/Phillips/Bucky with Wilson, Bradshaw, Carroll and Newsome pushing for time. I know these coaches will play more guys, but probably not more than 6. We at least have 6 that can play here.
I'm concerned about QB (I expect both will start games this year) and the schedule. I'm not concerned about depth. This is one of the four of five deepest teams I've seen at VT.

# | 2018 QB Dylan Hopkins Plans to Camp at Tech, Hoping to Follow in His Father's Footsteps Note we've had at least 3 sets of legacy players the past few years - Bruce Smith and son, Eugene and Kyle Chung, and Myron and Deon Newsome.
Time for Fuller family tree to start growing some lower limbs.
We should one up everybody and make our own beer to sell at games.
I deem it the Hoppy Hokie

Let me just say that the new uniforms are a vast improvement over the other recent attempts. Still think we should bring back the Where's Waldo look.
I'm guessing Steph didn't do his pregame ritual dance correctly, last night.

# | 2018 QB Dylan Hopkins Plans to Camp at Tech, Hoping to Follow in His Father's Footsteps Nice highlights, he continues to grow and I am sure Fuente can find a space for him...
Drinking Beer during a football game (or really any sporting event) >> Not Drinking Beer during a football game
I know they are highlights but I loved the accuracy of his throws. He really does look very athletic also.
Looks poised, fast, accurate. Hope he commits.

# | 2018 QB Dylan Hopkins Plans to Camp at Tech, Hoping to Follow in His Father's Footsteps I am in the same grade as Dylan's brother Joel, and their family lived in West Virginia before moving to Tennessee. Went to part of elementary and all of middle school with them before they moved to Tennessee. Awesome family, great Hokie fans, and terrific bloodline of football players. It would be a pleasure to have Dylan on the football team.
and these are just his SOPHOMORE highlights...this kid has a bright future no matter where he ends up
Well, he can throw a strike. Also, is that mom in the background because he...I...uhh....legs....football.....accident..goodbye

I think you may be confusing quickness for speed.
He gets up field quick after catches and gets YAC but I don't think anyone is saying he can't be caught
When making predictions, I have a very complex process to get the most accurate win total:
- Look at our OOC games. Which FCS team do we play? Are we playing ECU home or away? Were the other two on the upswing at the end of last season?
- Look at our Atlantic crossovers. Is this the BC of Matty Ice, or the BC that lost every conference game? Do we play the likes of Clemson/FSU or WF/Syracuse?
- Look at teams with new coaches. Is their talent enough to cover up growing pains? So we play them late in the season after they've had a chance to gel?
- Look at GT. is this the year they actually have the right personnel to pull off the triple option?
- Look at Miami. Are they really "bak?"
- Finally I count up all the games we'll play and tack a "-0" after that number.
15-0, baby!!
Our offense can't really get much worse unless we are a turnover machine. Bud has won some games for the team in the past and I think he will do it again this year. 8-4 is reasonable and would make me a happy feller!
OT, C, DE, LB, CB, WR (TBD with incoming freshmen)
I have never understood why Clemson's entrance gets so much praise. As everyone has stated above, they literally prance down a hill after touching a little rock while hundreds of balloons... yes, balloons, get released... If it were hundreds of Doves, then we are talking.... Also, I think OSU's entrance is pretty awesome. I was recording their whole dotting the i entrance while in the shoe and really felt the atmosphere growing, very cool.
They started alcohol sales in previous years by offering it in premium seating areas. I would not complain about the decisions Virginia Tech has made about alcohol sales in Lane Stadium. It is a necessary step in the process toward stadium wide access.
Hey fuck you guy.
We'd have to play west coast somewhere to have a chance.
Like on January 1, 2018?
I don't get this either. I remember watching the opening on ESPN once within the last two or three years. They were trying to talk up the whole bus ride. I just did not grasp how any of that was the slightest bit entertaining, let alone exciting.
Exactly...as described above, it's boring as hell.
And the worst part is it takes forever to start the game. While most ABC Saturday Night Football games kick off by 8:15, I'm pretty sure the last time I saw a Clemson home game in that slot kicked off closer to 8:30.

I like Matt Brown a lot. He's had a healthy admiration for our program for a while. He listed us as his #2 defense overall last year, thought we would finish 2nd in our division and had numerous VT players in his top 100. He likes us. He's been wrong about us in the past, but he likes us!
