In his defense, the name "Ron Mexico" is fucking hilarious.
My last round was in 2011. Went from mid single digits to unable to play due to shoulder issues in about a 2 week period.
Long story short, I can now take a full swing without pain and have been getting out to the driving range every 2-3 months for the last year and a half. That sounds like nothing at all but it is huge. My full swing has changed a little but it is quite playable. I just have to rest my shoulders for a week or so after playing. Short game was hilarious at first but my touch is now pretty good.
I intend to play a round this summer (maybe soon) and if I can play a scramble once in awhile and get to the range enough not to embarrass myself, it will be more than I thought I'd ever get back.
Almost got rid of my clubs but I'm glad I kept them....Mizuno MX 300 irons (5-P) and hybrids (MP CLK) (17, 20 and 23 degree); Taylor Made R7 Ltd driver (9.5 degree; + 6 grams); Ping 3 wood (15.5); Calloway wedges (50, 54) and an Odyssey center shafted (#2 CS) blade-style putter. I also have a 58 degree wedge that I'll sometimes swap out for either the 5 iron or 3 wood, depending on the course.
Yawn, let me know when Ron Mexico gets a documentary.

I really don't like having back to back Thursday night games. It takes any hopes of strategizing out of it. Miami and then Pitt....@Pitt??? Ugh....I hate the fact that Pitt is a thorn in our side. I feel like we should be leaps and bounds above them.

Yeah, that's the guy who told me I shouldn't talk about football because I'm a girl. I couldn't get on twitter for days because of all of the hate I then got. He was a real classy guy.
After working 3 years on cart staff with two different head pros I've seen that that job is definitely tough, so hats off to you.
I've found that you really can't go wrong with TaylorMade, Ping, or Mizuno. I've got the Rocketballs iron set plus 3 and 4 hybrids, and have nothing but positives to say about them. TaylorMade Burners are a slightly cheaper but about equal in performance. A couple of my buddies have Pings and they've never even considered going with a different brand. Some of the most badass clubs are the Titleist AP2's but few can reasonably afford.
We played in a few Gator Bowls on NBC (2000, 2001, 2005 seasons) but I can't recall playing in a regular season game on NBC since I started at Tech.
