Disagree completely. If all that time and story arc and pretty much half of the entire written page based on one character rising to power, mother of dragons and on and on and on.... and DOESN'T become Queen the entire series of books will be pretty pointless.
And regarding her not knowing how to govern that is not how you rule from the Iron Throne. Governance is done by the Hand and the Small Council. The King/Queen rules. So Dany needs to conquer and keep rule. That's how its done.

No, from where he is from Michigan is probably one of the schools he has known the most about his whole life. Add in Harbaugh, and yeah he is essentially a Michigan lock.

1. Good hips--> his hips always stay parallel to the LOS while in pursuit.
2. Plays Aggressive/Quick--> This kid plays at 100mph and doesn't quit till the whistle blows. This is something that comes naturally.
I really hope we can land this kid.

Pretty good point there. That's my first thought.
I get bummed when we lose out on these guys, and have to forcefully stop myself from thinking of what could have been, when I see a school "steal" "our" recruits (looking at your FSU). Just human nature, fan nature.
My remedy is to think about guys like Tim Settle, who is now less than 100 days from being unmercifully unleashed into the college football world.

Anyone else find it highly hypocritical he is stepping down from the President and now Chancellor positions related to a situation that is highly ILLEGAL, yet is remaining a professor for the law school?

My thoughts exactly. It's torture allowing yourself to get your hopes up and then have the inevitable disappointment in the end. I see so many people here and other places chirping about "we need better recruiters, closers, etc." The reality is, we are a .500 program right now. The recruits we're chasing now were in elementary school when we won our last ACC title, and it's been longer since we were truly nationally-relevant. We also haven't exactly been sending players to the NFL in droves lately, either.
Our lack of any semblance of a functional offense for far too long, too many gaffes on the national stage, and a lack of a modern approach to recruiting until it was too late have all contributed to where we are now. I think we are in great hands with Fuente, but we have to win before we can expect to come out on the good side in many of these big recruiting battles. I'm sick of hearing about how we just don't have recruiters. If you're bringing in loads of 4 and 5* guys to any other .500 school, chances are we would think something pretty sketchy is going on. I don't want us to lower ourselves to that. We can win, build this thing back under Fuente, and do things the right way. I'm not going to focus too much on recruiting until I see what Fuente can do on the field.
Perhaps this guy?? I'm sure he has given up on his dream of playing and moved on to coaching.

I mean is he really a Virginia kid?
To be fair, Vilain isn't really a VA kid so being a state power probably doesn't have much sway when he has no roots here. Williams is a classic case of that though

A few significant developments emerged from what was a strong recruiting weekend for Michigan. First and foremost is the optimism surrounding Michigan's chances with top-100 VA WDE Luiji Vilain following his weekend visit. Michigan has pursued Vilain, a Canadian import, since he was a freshman and Brady Hoke was still in charge, and they were one of the first Power 5 schools to get in on what's become a legitmately national recruitment. Sam Webb has a lengthy, free post on Vilain's reaction to his visit last weekend, and the Wolverines are in great shape:
"I came in with high expectations, but I was still pretty blown away," said Vilain. "It was really good. Everything was different. The vibe as soon as I get there, I felt that it was different. There's change. I guess that's the Harbaugh effect."
Webb issued one of his famous "gut feelings" about an unnamed recruit who will make his choice public in mid-June, and all signs point to Vilain, who told Sam that after last weekend he won't need to take any more visits before making his decision. After speaking with his parents and his trainer, he'll decide between Michigan, Virginia Tech, and USC. It would be a surprise if he didn't end up a Wolverine before the end of the June.
Disagree. GRRM has already said (1) the ending will be bittersweet and (2) there are 3 "holy shit" moments, the last which comes at the very end.
I think Dany helps conquer Westeros, and takes what is hers by right, but realizes that what she has is not what she wants, so she abdicates and returns to Essos. Maybe something about the ruins of Valyria calls to her. She gets to be the conqueror, rights the wrongs, and then gets to do whatever she wants because she hates being/can't be a ruler of a foreign people.
