He seems to be a great kid, wishing him the very best. Also should mention that Naji Marshall, a 6'6" small forward from Maryland visited yesterday. He is a 4* and is being highly recruited by Tech. He would be a great get!
For a second I thought this was football, which would have been an interesting idea.
And because there aren't many good matchups in week 2.
Gameday will most likely be there since it is an 8 PM ABC game.
I disagree that she will always be an ineffective ruler. She is up against a unique situation of deep, deep tradition from all the power in the area being the slavers, of which she is completely opposing and changing everything about their culture and way of life. Mereen (and similar places) are not like Westeros and I believe her rallying cries will be met without that particular type of conflict in Westeros. Plus, Tyrion to handle the more nuanced political matters, she's the best bet by far. Bring Jon Snow into her crew and she will likely have the support of the North. Everything points to her being the only person with a legitimate shot at creating a sustainable rule. But given this show, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't have a clean ending at all.
Edit: Plus the last episode was beating hard into our heads that her main role may just be as the conqueror.
That home break from 9/24 to 10/20 is still going to be brutal.
I'd buy into her rule if Tyrion was Hand of the King/Queen
I can't imagine how drunk those Tenn. fans will be by 8. This is going to be a fun event, that is why we are getting there the Sunday before the game.
are they serving milkshakes?? sure as hell looks like they brought everyone to the yard...

They put out SoCal former 5 star recruit Ronald Johnson, often called Rojo.
After a slow weekend, news is starting to pick up on TKP. What's next?
I would argue that if the thread title made you think of Michigan, then Michigan is the right answer for you...
Speaking as a Michigan native, Muskegon is a storied program. They were very dominant in the early 2000's winning like 3 State Championships.
I've always wondered why the top teams don't tank their first game of a conference tournament. They have zero to gain and risk injury.
Michigan (I also blame the thread title and PAC-12 officials, or I might have said Auburn)

Didn't attend. Why am I here? Heavily recruited by Mike Vick and the 1999 title run.

One hour after getting off the plane, got food poisoning and it was not the best trip, but we still kicked the Longhorns butt and put the program on the map.
You have to keep the conference tourneys because they give a team a chance that was late to jell as a team. Take VT for example next year. They start the season slow to learn how to play as a team and then get hot and are the team to beat. Some teams are just slow starters and this would destroy a team and it's fans hope for a tournament bid. Besides Callapari is just a whiner, with the best recruiting class every year. Just imagine how good those recruits would be if they had a real coach.
This is why I stopped following recruiting. It's too painful. Except reading the TKP boards about recruiting, following decision dates, and watching the posted hudl film. Other than that, I stopped....
Michigan...ugh

Sorry John, but just because the tourney didn't help your seeding doesn't mean the tourneys had other implications for other conferences.
If you don't find value in your team playing in the tournament, then forfeit and hope the committee doesn't kick you out of the big dance.
Maybe it's because I'm old, and I've run into too many pieces of work, but I really appreciate a kid like that, and really enjoyed that video. He speaks from the heart, and is obviously a really nice guy that would be a pleasure to be around - looks like a great teammate to have.
Aaaand...I always give bonus points for knowing the difference between "well" and "good".
It's more old guy stuff.

Well now...this is some impressive recruiting work.
It looks close to wrap up time.

And "trope"? Gonna have to google that "word for the day". TKP, ever-educational.

And now he's not even that...just going to teach.
Anyone want to take bets on if that changes before September?
