Those are the best I've heard of anyone having. I wonder if it helps that you guys bought blocks of 10?

I discussed this with my wife after the episode. Was GRRM thinking so far ahead? Or did he name him/have him say Hodor from the jump and just figure he would come up with some reason eventually?

Either way, I found it to be a very satisfying reveal (except for him dying...*tear*). It also shows that Bran might end up being a really big deal with his ability to greensee/ warg. Lots of really interesting possibilities

I've lamented the lack of anything exciting in the return game as much as anyone, but according to cfbstats.com (http://www.cfbstats.com/2015/leader/national/team/offense/split01/catego...) Virginia Tech was 62nd in the country (just above the middle) with 8.59 ypr. Supposing our opponents generally held people below average, we'd get a small adjustment upwards which would explain the rating.

Sure doesn't feel like it watching the "returns" though.

Great question - extra points are ignored, so it would be "Opp FG Efficiency" which is not included in the overall formula and "PR Efficiency" which is. If it is a field goal, it's for the most part a return that matters - otherwise blocking a field goal is pretty much worth the same as a missed field goal since you get the ball right around that spot. For a punt, on the other hand, even without a return you've created a huge shift in field position.

In either case it depends on where you are on the field. Blocking someone's 60-yard field goal attempt is not worth a lot because they are not expected to get many points from that distance anyway. Blocking someone's 23-yard attempt is worth much more.

For what it's worth, Memphis was tied for 7th last year with 4 blocked kicks (2 FG's, 2 punts). Virginia Tech had 2 (both punts).

This post is far and away better than educational TV. Who said Hokie fans are dumb?

Big that he didn't commit to Michigan on his visit there. If we can get him back on campus, we'll have a shot.

In all seriousness, it shouldn't be an issue. I have a letter in tow from the three members of Congress representing most of the impacted area (including an author of the MSA) stating that the regulatory approach taken by SAFMC for cobia demonstrates "disregard for federal law." I have studies by Texas A&M that conflicts with their data. And I have the National Standards of the MSA itself. I should be able to make a sound argument.

*waits for comments about how this guy is "a good one" because he used the right name, while others gripe about how more recruits don't know to correctly tweet the school's name*

When we get to the point that Hokie Club donations exceed our athletic scholarship expenditures then I'll worry about where the "extra" money is going.

So I get it, the Three Eyed Raven "doesn't want to show him too much at once" and that makes for the story to be told in a long and drawn out way. But for god sake, Bran's story line more than the others bugs me to no end in that these people he trusts just "let" him make mistakes. Not to mention, the kid can't walk and the old dude is trapped in a tree's roots, they aren't going anywhere, why not have a cup of coffee and talk about what it is Bran needs to "know". But no, they all have to take cave naps and let Bran army crawl over to the past and let him get people killed because he is dying to know more and the old guy wont tell him, but oh wait now that he has screwed up lets warg cram everything you need to know into 5 minutes before we all get killed.
