You can keep complaining about how much people at Philly fans, but let's look at some of the things Philly fans have done over the years.
They threw snowballs at the Cowboys players and coaches.
They threw batteries at JD Drew.
They put a full court system in their football stadium.
A guy threw up on a little girl.
They cheered Michael Irvin's career ending injury.
They threw snowballs at Santa.
They threw wristbands honoring their dead owner on the ice while their own players begged them to stop (and the refs were correct on the call!)
There might be some decent fans in Philly, but there are way more horrible ones (and just bad people) than any other fanbase I can think of.
I would do that too if I had enough money.
This seems relevant.

Can you blame them? Only like 5 UVA fans have seen their team play in person in years. Out of sight out of mind.
Well what's your definition of "winning" in the playoffs? I mean, sure, they haven't won the whole caboodle, but by definition they have won (multiple times).
can you blame him? Who wants to be compared to Rogers?
I think the point was that they might be in good shape at the position, but as a program, they weren't in good shape so you can't say that they're "still in good shape"
Anyone who says they wouldn't like to have Smoke, Zaccheaus, and Reid is lying.
But they don't have a Drew Harris??
Motion of the ocean!
Don't disagree. Look at who they have at RB.
There's a lot of truth in that quote. Don't see anything wrong with it. Anyone who says they wouldn't like to have Smoke, Zaccheaus, and Reid is lying.
In typical fashion, the Joe Hadeed Washington Carpetals get the early sweep under the rug again. Seems like whatever this team needs to win the playoffs, they just don't have it. How much experience do they need to keep up the intensity and not go through flat, uninspired stretches of play?
Onward to the Nats, then Hokies!
Thanks as always for the great write up. Cannot wait to attempt to regurgitate it to others in the stands while pouring myself a Beam and Coke
I think they wanted him to move to FB, which he did not want to do.
We talk about how robotic and/or idiotic Saban, Urban, Les, Harbaugh can be, but besides having 3rd stringers that could start, this is what championship teams do well that win all of their games.
that time of year, if you want big drum, you need to head north. Fishing with heavy conventional surf gear throwing fresh spotheads on fishfinder rigs off the end of the pier is the ticket for big drum. Start at Avalon Pier and work your way south as the fish move through.
Actually, it's mistake....it's not Emma but Sofia:

"Virginia loses its only incoming freshman at the RB position, but is still in good shape for the current season."
Still in good shape.....Ok
Exactly. In retrospect, this may be my biggest peeve with having Lefty take over for Stiney as OC. Our "culture" offensively was not putting in the effort or paying the attention to detail needed, and I don't think Lefty was a great fix at all for those problems. Schematically, he tried to reinvent the wheel with formations, shifts, passing routes, etc. But it was the little things that still didn't get addressed - effort, blocking, selling play action, handoffs, fakes, lazy route running, etc. I don't care what offense you want to run; if you can't take care of those little things, your odds of being terribly successful are doomed from the get go. I'm excited to see a better focus on effort, detail, and player buy-in under the new staff.
Best part of the page is the news sidebar. "Breaking news in rowing, soccer, and men's and women's golf! Oh and our quarterback left."

"We're goin' to see that there's a lot of people that can go overboard with the whole situation..I think we're seeing that now.."
Fuente on Jim Harbaugh and Michigan.
Thanks for the response and great article! I don't know much about Vice's recruiting strategy for OL. It pains me to think we will need to go all athletic (newsome era with converted tight ends) instead of bringing in true OL with nasty attitudes that understand what it takes to get that yard when you need it. To me, the definition of athletic for an OL, is impose your will at all costs. I am not trying to over simplify it but don't need to overthink it either. Curious how you see it French.
Obviously we know how most everybody in the ACC feels about all of this but here's the good guys 2 cents worth...

Getting a postseason trophy of any kind would be a start
