"Worst case is that he believed it to be true and didn't care"

I'm starting to wonder if the narrative is going to go from "condone" to "endorse" soon...

We may not have reached "worst case scenario".

It really IS hard to understand how one can know about a creepy guy like Sandusky butt raping minor young men in the showers, in a place that is tantamount to your kingdom, and firmly entrenched as the legendary ruler of said kingdom, and simply let it go.

If Paterno was not outraged by that, which seems to be the case...how DID he feel about it?

Yikes.

Don't think so. The Hawks/Pistons are putrid. You could make an all-star team from those squads and they might beat Portland in 7. Don't think Miami or Toronto will be that big of a task for them either, might push them a little. Think the Warriors/Spurs beat them in 5 or 6. I don't really like the way OKC plays, but if Durant is in the mood, you're not beating them (see last night).

I can't imagine the wildling woman getting caught a second time. This could be a distraction concocted by Rickon using the strong allegiance the Umbers showed the Starks.

maybe, that's a reason he has never considered the west, easy path to the finals. however, the not tested part of the equation might really shine on those guys, when they face teams that have actually won and know what it takes to take home rings. gsw would be absolute nightmare for love and kyrie on defense.

Should see both teams playing complete different styles. Should be interesting.

"So I mixed up my recruits. Laborn was supposed to be making his decision on June 3rd. Hunter does not have a timetable yet"

Sooo...the star recruit that favors us is going to wait and just maybe be swayed elsewhere.
And the guy that might like us better if he holds on until he sees our new offense, is NOT going to wait.

Up the Gas! Spending next season at the heady heights of League One! And they've got a couple of young Welsh players, Emil Harrison and Tom Lockyer, to pull for. Hell, they might make it to the PL before Villa make it back, sad face...

I am just now seeing this. This is incredible, thank you, thank you all.

One bucket of oats, please

Anyone else getting this weird feeling that this is the year Lebron brings a championship to Cleveland?

Kyrie, Love, and Lebron have played 12 postseason games together and they are 12-0. Nobody in the East is going to beat them and they are sailing through at this point. The series in the West are starting to take a toll on these teams. Spurs/Thunder is probably going 7. Warriors win in 6 is my guess, or 7 if Curry is out the entire series. And then the WCF become a real fight.

Yep, croaker in Mobjack and East River. Agree, hate to spend money on baits like Gulp, but until I find a better bait, I'll maximize my catch and live with the cost. Flounder fishing tomorrow.

The Umbers using Rickon, although it would require that they are not completely aware of how insane Ramsey is that they would risk putting a Stark in his custody. Greatjon was completely faithful to Robb, and I find it unlikely that the Umbers would just sell out the Starks so easily.

Varys history is revealed, just not in the show. Seems extremely unlikely that he is a Targaryen of any kind, granted his role is very different at this point in the show vs. the books.

No JV, No Whiteside, and D-Wade anthem gate. Game 4 should be interesting tonight, with lots of small ball.

So, in the spirit of three straight episodes without Littlefinger, do any of the following Long Cons seem likely?

- The Umbers, using Rickon as a "gift" to infiltrate the Bolton's? Considering how Ramsey took in Theon on a con, it would be a nice turn around.

- Varys, whose history has never been revealed, being a Targaryan via the Blackfyre cousins. He toiled for years in Kings Landing to get his family back in power.

- The High Septon is an anti-Lannister plant, some have said Howland Reed (although he seems too old).
