i have no idea how to even begin to pronounce his last name, so i submit we change it to 'delicious', and add 'cakes' (even though I'm team pie) and therefore we get "Drakes Delicious Cakes"

Lol I didn't even see that until later
I won many national championships on NCAA Football for the PlayStation with a base I-formation with 3 tight ends.
BENCH Ford and Phillips. Packaged RPO's with 5 tight end sets. 3 h backs, we cut all our runningbacks, we don't need them, runs done by h-backs. Rotate all 4 QB's every drive/or situationally. Heavy TE jet sweep game.
Next stop? CFP championship game.
The "two to three tight ends every down" comment is really interesting. Assuming that includes an H-Back, perhaps the move away from 4 receivers is going to be more of a permanent situation to get more big bodies on the field who can block linebackers and catch passes. Would make sense considering how integral the RunPassOptions seem to be from the early previews we've gotten from French&co
this should work right?

That's good to hear. I think I'm just salty that Greg Dortch from the 2016 class was formed from the same mold, VHSL 5A player of the year, and already a proven entity at KR and in the slot but we didn't even extend him an offer. Saltiness aside... I'm hoping Kalil (and guys like Josh Jackson) can help us tap into the Michigan/midwest pipeline.
Whoa, whoa, wait! You're indicating that NFL experience has and carries zero relevance in college ball??
I'm actually moving tomorrow from North Carolina to Chesapeake this week and out of curiosity I checked to see how far my new place is from Indian River High School. It's less than 2 miles. PAGING PETEBUDDYWILSON... we have a code MAROON! I repeat, we have a code MAROON. Send Hardee's coupons my way ASAP.
One thing to note is that his coach said he's grown an inch and a half in the past year. Probably closer to 5'8" now and could continue. Plus a college lifting program could put on 10-15 pounds I bet. Lots of unknowns, but a lot of potential too.
Seasons 1 through 6 have all had 10 episodes apiece, but word on the web is that the next two seasons of the show could have less. Speaking to Variety recently, co-showrunner David Benioff said "I think we're down to our final 13 episodes after this season [the sixth one]", and HBO executive Michael Lombardo mentioned that the showrunners are planning "probably two more years after [season] six".
So, 20 left total.
They know where the story goes, there are only 15 (?) episodes left.
Did HBO already announce that next season would be last? I think you mean 17 episodes - IIRC each season is 10 episodes.
EDIT:
In January, HBO was in the process of renewing the television contract for seasons 7 & 8 - that would mean 27 episodes left.
Admit it, at the start of the season, you totally thought this would happen:
To HOAT:
The only one that I think is a major miss is the "pail of water" that I think they want us to use as the 'lunch pail' but everyone knows what the true lunch pail looks like

He plans to make his decision on June 3rd so we'll see soon enough.
Edit: So I mixed up my recruits. Laborn was supposed to be making his decision on June 3rd. Hunter does not have a timetable yet.
Whoops, yea that was my fault. Laborn was supposed to be the 3rd.
+1
I wasn't going to click on this, but I just had to find out why this thread was getting bumped.
Well played sir, well played.
Could be wrong, but I don't believe Hunter has planned a decision date yet. I think Laborn planned to announce June 1st, but that could be up in the air.
we had a nice run of stripers in the surf this weekend on the Eastern Shore
DAYUM!!!! That's cold-blooded! What a sec...
In Hunter's case, I hope he makes a quick decision for VT. I believe it would be a good recruiting aid for others to come on board.
Yeah, but three strikes in a row is a turkey!!
This will never get old. Still sounds so much better than Wildcat...

The second time I saw the gif I saw a green blip in the corner. Took a few more views to actually figure out what it said.
