I think that's unfair to the Hawks - the playoffs are mostly about how you match up with the other team in the series, and they had an unlucky draw getting Cleveland in the second round. The Cavs had a huge advantage at PG and SF, which are the weak points in Atlanta's lineup. The Hawks had no one who can slow down LeBron or Kyrie, which isn't saying much because very few teams do.
If Atlanta is playing Toronto or Miami (who have been playing nearly unwatchable basketball) right now, I think we see Cavs-Hawks in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Nice, informative read. Really gives a heads up on what to expect and I don't feel too bad about that since opposing defenses will not be taking parking tickets waiting for the jet sweep to come around.
Having played against the single-wing way back in wing T and veer systems, I always thought Tyrod would have been fun to watch in the single-wing. He would have been sort of a faster version of magnificient Leon King from Giles 80's championship team.
Seeing his reaction to the head of Shaggy Dog, I highly doubt Rickon wanted that.
I'm sure this is obvious to the more foosball trained people here but.....what about our current recruits lines up with Fuente's scheme?
I too hope the o-line is learning fast, and able to execute.... unfortunately this concern had been built over the pay couple of years.
Great write up. It makes me more excited to see them play. I hope Mendenhall don't see this, ii's probably better analysis than he'll get from his staff!!
Any noticeable difference to the type of O Lineman in his past offenses relative to what we have now? Do you expect a change in the type of player for the future?
Very well done. Lots of options from a single formation. Our QB has to have his act together with all the reads necessary to be successful. Is it football yet?
Well done, as usual. That was well worth waiting for. I agree with you that we seem to have the athletes to effectively run this system, once they all have learned their roles. Selling every play by all the players is the key, and it was exciting to see how well things worked out when they did. I'm looking forward to this season more than any in a long time.
I got a bridge in Arizona I want to sell you, too! I'll readily admit that in some situations, flies will definitely do the trick, but not always, for example, flounder in deeper water. We need to have a fish-off one day, Gulp vs your flies, loser buys the beer. Seriously, though, Chuck's Claw Dad will absolutely murder croaker/spot/whiting and most stripers will hit streamers. Reds will eat almost anything you put in front of them, and shallow water reds are about made for flies. My fly fishing has deteriorated to popping bugs for bream on the beds, and smallmouth in late summer and early fall, though. Now, if the darned rain will just stop, I want to get out this morning.
Edit: While I've seen it done, or at least attempted, surf fishing with the fly rod is a tough task. Gulp works great in the surf.
Thanks guys that was the kind of info I was looking for.

..........I could probably eat 14 feet of sushi.........
What do you want to know? I do it all! IfishVTIam is a hell of a freshwater fisherman as well.
Fished it yesterday looking for the big bluefish. 5 hours on the water between two very experienced fishermen and we got one small spike trout. There were a million other kayakers and some boats on the water. No one else was catching anything either
It all depends on how quickly the water warms up. All of this rain flowing into Pamlico is probably not helping, but it does not effect the surf as much. You're likely to find blues, some trout and maybe some drum in the surf.
I've got some flies that are just as good!
I did a little research on Pimpleton's team Muskegon on MaxPreps. Last year they were ranked the 8th best team in the state of Michigan regardless of classification. They were also ranked 304th in the nation. There are 3 high schools in Muskegon County all having enrollments of over 1000 students each. They had a 9-3 record in 2015 and lost one conference game to Mona Shores-Muskegon that they avenged in the playoffs. Mona Shores was undefeated in the regular season. In comparison, Joshua Jackson's (VT) high school Saline was ranked 21st in the state of Michigan, was ranked 795th nationally, and had a 10-1 record. We can't draw any conclusions from this other than they appear to play in a respectable league in the state of Michigan. Muskegon's playoff loss was to Lowell the state runner-up in their classification 36-7. Lowell lost to King that is in Detroit 40-38. King was ranked number 1 in the state of Michigan regardless of classification. Perhaps this puts the competition Pimpleton plays into perspective. I may be wrong but Pimpleton is probably worthwhile despite his lack of star ranking. However, I would still like to see us get 6-8 4-star player recruits in 2017 to go along with him.
Are you sure it's not Dray-Kee? I'm happy he's committed. He looks to be a good Bucky 2.0
Or the outback bowl could move to 12/31 at 7pm.
Yeah, and if you can eat all 14 feet of it, you get your picture on the wall.
Sam Rogers adds a new picture up there every week.
So I guess the "defensess receiver" is just for sissy Yanks.
I would say there are probably a lot of aussie rules football stars who suffer from deteriorated speech later in life, but its probably tough to tell
I think in the long version of this clip the defenders come and blow him up after the play for acting like a tool
Obviously the regular season is a heck of a lot different than the playoffs, but both the Hawks and the Pistons went undefeated (4-0) against Portland this year.

What a great way to start the day,French! Yep, all these formations are going to make offense very hard to defend.
