If that had been Flyers fans it would have made the national news

Have had many conversations with the NYC alums about this very point. Hokie Club has had two serious oversights in my opinion the last 10 years. They focused far too long on regional donors (mid-Atlantic + Atlanta) only and never set their sights on recent grads or young alumni. As someone who's worked on both sides of the fundraising table my whole career I can't emphasize how important *cultivating* donors is to long-term success. It's much easier to get people in the door and grow them over time then go after huge multi-million dollar gifts. You can live and die by the big donors or you can create a sustainable base.

See I'm the opposite. I felt very confident in the Pens chances after the first game but not so much now that they're up a game. Puck luck was with the Pens last night and I don't know how sid will do without tanger

Yep, good stuff. some great thoughts there. Here's my assumptions:
- Sansa is in charge, especially after Jon/Brienne/Wildlings help defeat Boltons and retake Winterfell,
- Bran makes his way back, either physically or metaphysically. He informs Sansa/Jon that it was Jaime who pushed him.
- Arya catches up at some point, reminds everyone that it was the Lannisters who beheaded Ned.
- Blackfish holds out at Riverrun, which causes Jaime and the Frey's to lay siege. The Starks hear about this and send Brienne and small army (Mormonts?) to take back Riverrun.
- Sansa instructs Brienne to capture Jaime and deliver him to Arya. Brienne either directly or indirectly by delivering him to Arya, has to kill Jaime and she has great issues with this because she likes him but has sworn an oath to Sansa.
- Arya faces Jaime to go kill Cersei

I'm thinking Sansa/Arya take the lead in conquering Westeros, i.e. Kings Landing and the Lannisters. Bran/Jon take the lead in conquering the whitewalkers. Danyrius/Tyrion tie in on both fronts. Euron Greyjoy works as a foil for all of it, Theon has to defeat him in the end to earn back his self.

Another point are the parking permits. To park in Zone A (Cassell) you must donate an extra $2500. That doesn't even guarantee you a spot. Also, there are no reserved spots. First come, first serve, IF you get a spot there. Which may work better for some of the actual, big money donors. I park off-campus.

Does anyone else think this puts unfair pressure on Fuente to win early/win often? Bad OOC games with higher donation premiums and a new coach/coaching staff seems to be a bad situation.

I will likely pony up the first year, and see how the reseating goes. We will probably lose our seats due to someone with higher priority dropping down. It does not sit well with me.

As of the Feb 2016 Hokie Club priority ranking, there were 1304 donors at Diamond Hokie or higher, 391 Platinum Hokies and 1887 Golden Hokies. Using the new ticket guidelines (where GH can get 6 tickets, PH can get 8, DH can get 10, and all the way up to 16 tickets for the new top level), I would estimate ~20,000 tickets to Golden Hokies and higher. If everyone were to max out the number of tickets they can take, it would be closer to 30,000. I think there are less than 20,000 seats at the new $600/$800 levels, but I would definitely be curious what the actual number is.

I always imagined Sam would be one to fall under the radar, but at least one source knows what the hell they're talking about as the number 1 rated fullback in next year's draft class.

In 2015, Rogers racked up 61 carries for 260 yards with 16 receptions for 193 yards. He also had two scores on the ground and two through the air.

There was a rare sight in the 2015 season opener - between Ohio State versus Virginia Tech - with a breakout performance by a fullback. Rogers was incredible against the Buckeyes. He ripped off a nice 16-yard run early in the game, hit a block on two defenders to spring his back for a long run, and then caught a 51-yard touchdown on a wheel route with a superb run after the catch. Rogers finished with 23 yards rushing on three carries and two receptions for 54 yards. He showed some real talent for a fullback.

The former walk-on Rogers won the starting fullback job in 2014 and caught 12 passes for 78 yards with five carries for nine yards. He needs to add weight for the NFL.
