I personally liked how the refs called the game.
They called it loose, almost old school NBA style. (Arm bars, FTW!!! Pivot foot? What's a pivot foot?)
Calling Jugs. So a few questions that either can you answer or point me to rule book where the answer is. How are 3rd party camps treated now? For example Nike is holding a camp can coaches go and watch? Of so what prevents ODU from holding a camp and other coaches coming and watching?
Dat aint how thangs get dun round hear.
These camps were all to benefit players who otherwise would not have been able to get exposure to those schools. Last year Michigan signed a handful of kids that were ignored by their own area powers. Now those kids will get passed by.
Instead of complaining that PSU was holding a 757 camp, we could have done one too. Or gone to Charlotte or DC. Why do we have any more of a right to the 757 than anyone else? You can make the argument that allowing the practice will skew recruiting to teams with big budgets, but now all this is doing is skewing it to teams with fertile recruiting grounds. How is that better?
On top of that, now you are screwing teams like Texas Tech and other isolated schools that were holding them in their own state. Now they have no access to the majority of Texas kids and they weren't even "encroaching" on other territories.
The ACC and SEC were hurting themselves by having the rule in the first place. They just dragged down the rest of the NCAA with them.
Yeah, they'll have to settle for attending mid-major programs like VT. /s
use to be rules on how often a recruiter could speak with/text a kid... now that rule basically goes out the door.
THIS IS ONLY FOR TEXTING/PHONE CALLS... social media like twitter and facebook contacts are still not allowed.
Back in January February time frame of this year they let this rule go for Basketball, that was the 1st tester and now they've opened it up to more sports.
I doubt it. I don't see that as a problem.
I think it is actually hosting practices with the players participating.
Memphis has just proven that if you go there and do a decent job you have a chance to be offered a job at a bottom level ACC school. Why would Buzz not want that? /s
Considering this was done by vote of a group that included no SEC representation and only one B1G representative, I'd say that the group who decided this had the interests of all member institutions in mind.

EDIT: Basically it was only the B1G and a few of the G5 folks who voted no to this.
Source told @ESPN conferences that voted against satellite camps: ACC, Big 12, SEC, Pac-12, MWC, Sun Belt. In favor: B1G, AAC, C-USA, MAC— Brett McMurphy (@McMurphyESPN) April 8, 2016
So basically where all the recruits are from: against. Where they don't have recruits: for. https://t.co/KOqZxe8dBq— Ben Swain (@TheBenSwain) April 8, 2016
I want the the UNC/Villanova NCAA Championship game overturned due to oblivious poor officiating throughout the whole game. The officials should be fired and put under investigation.
Also go read the comments if you get a chance haha unc is getting ripped to shreds
Soooooo, Josh Pastner is heading from Memphis to Georgia Tech. This is weird to me because Memphis didn't even like Pastner and they were trying to get out from under his contract, but good for Pastner. In March, SI's college insider Pete Thamel speculated that he could be fired from Memphis and he offered this list for possible replacements at Memphis...
Bruce Pearl (Auburn), Buzz Williams (Virginia Tech), Gregg Marshall (Wichita State), Penny Hardaway,
Jerod Haase (UAB), Frank Martin (South Carolina),Brad Underwood (Stephen F. Austin), Rick Byrd (Belmont),Chris Beard (Arkansas-Little Rock)andRick Stansbury (Texas A&M assistant).

#BuzzWatch2016 marches on.

Was that last gif an allusion to another secret?
The irony of Memphis taking a coach who rebuilt our problem...
They forgot to mention they left out a few words:

I have a hard time seeing Buzz leave the ACC for Memphis.
Spring Football Only Access?
I want a playmaker back there, I'm not settling for reliable when Stroman has housed a punt, Stroman is a proven playmaker. Nobody else on our team has returned a punt for a touchdown. We could try someone else out in the hopes they have that it factor, but we don't know. We KNOW Stroman can do it. Idgaf if he runs backwards a few times because those negative 5-8 yard losses don't hurt us as much as the big ones help us. I would not trade 10 ypr and no touchdowns for what we have now, plain and simple. Also, Beamerball was about creating big plays and scoring while not on offense. 8 YPR can be achieved without big plays and no touchdowns. It is you who does not see the point that I am making. The big plays outweigh, in dramatic fashion, consistently gaining a few more yards per return. In 2010, what was more important, David Wilson's ypr or the two individual kick returns in the comeback against NC State and the go ahead score against GT?
My other question is WHO do you think is better and "someone has to be" doesn't answer that at all. You just assume we have some other dynamic playmaker we could put back there that we can risk getting hurt AND can trust to not muff/fumble. Travon McMillian? You think Isaiah Ford would make a better return guy? Deon Newsome? based on....?
I'm not your buddy, gaylord!!
Yep. Saw missed calls both ways.

This is how it comes full circle
