I really hope that guy is a senior.
I'm going to be nervous if Motley wins the job. I think that Evans will win it.
I haven't watched the new movie yet. Really have no desire, it looks like DC is mangling their movies already. But I did mistakenly go to see Man of Steel. From that I never got an impression that Superman was supposed to be a hero. He caused almost as much destruction as the other kryptonians, showed little respect for life by not moving the fight out of metropolis, and demonstrated that he killed something that historically Batman won't do.
Those were different clips and could likely be different plays. Motley may have executed it correctly for all we know as we were not there.
I'm trending somewhere between neutral and hating everyone.
As bad as I dislike UVA, I can't pull for Syraexcuse. We finished ahead of them in the league. They beat us in overtime at Syraexcuse and never led the game until overtime. They lost 5 of their last 6 games including the first round of the ACC tournament, never beat any of the top 4 teams in the league (0-5) and lost to Georgetown (8th in Big East) and St. John's (last in Big East, 1-17 and 8-24 overall). Coach sat out 9 games for violations and had to forfeit previous wins. UVA is showing them that they don't belong. They have beat three low seeds to get this far and played an MTSU team that was still high from beating #2 seed Michigan State.
I spent the first 18 years of my life in Georgia before going to VT. My little bro went to Ug(h)a. Maybe it's just the SEC, but they are some of the most obnoxious people you will ever meet. They call GT fans "nerds" out of jealousy. Their school isn't very good, and is only hard to get into because of the HOPE scholarship. I would cheer for LOLUVA over the dogs, because they at least educate their students and can spell their own, damn mascot correctly.
Root for loluva? Never.
At this point I'm rooting for any team that is likely to knock them out.
I'm so jealous of them right now.
They are pretty good with round balls; it's the oblong ones they can't handle.
I don't know how you watch the movie and don't recognize Batman's perspective. Superman's battles have killed a lot of people and is therefore a threat.
If UVA didn't have perrentats or however you spell, this would be a totally different gam.
The new take on Lex Luthor is on of my least favorite re-imaginings of a comic book character. A relatively calm and calculating villain with an inner rage would have fit the tone of the film much better.
I think the editing was fine considering what they had to work with. The writing was what needs the biggest tune up.
I think showing Darkseid as the super villain of the first Justice League movie is a good move. He is the pinnacle of villains in the DC Universe and there is no sense in saving him for later when you are trying to launch a major movie franchise in a saturated comic book movie market.
Actually, I get no more satisfaction than when the kicker lays out the runner with a nice form tackle or punches the ball loose.
Good chance we take about 3, give or take a stud.
Maybe but I'm pretty sure coaches flinging chairs at players' heads is frowned upon by the NCAA.
Definitely an interesting few months ahead. As Hokie Fans, this should be good. Hope you have had a great Easter!
Evans literally weighed in bigger than Motley. That isn't opinion.
He also has more lateral agility.
I think Evans and Motley are about the same height, but Evans is built like a linebacker. He's probably got 15 pounds or so on Motley, who has a bit more of a lanky build I think. For Evans' build, he is incredibly quick and agile from what I've seen. I think all three have really good arm strength, but from a few throws I've seen from limited clips of Evans, he can absolutely rifle it with pretty good accuracy too.
I think all of the QBs are incredibly talented. Whoever can learn and run the offense best, demonstrate the most leadership, and earn Fuente and Cornelsen's trust will probably win the job. Would not be upset with any of them winning it.
I can understand the concept of losing all hope, but of all the things the movie did, it explained that the least. Dark and brooding, I get, mostly because of other movies.
So his solution is killing Superman?
In concept I get that an omnipotent Superman would be a risk. If he were misusing his powers, I could understand the mistrust. But a Superman who has never done anything but good, however, is a less palatable story. And the solution is that rather than discuss it with him, you have to kill him?
And he was convinced of this because one of his employees was disgruntled, and blew up a Congressional hearing, so it became apparent that Superman was the bad guy?
Yeah, I don't get it.
I've already read some griping. If we aren't landing all the 4 and 5 stars, some portions of our fanbase are never going to be satisfied. I think some people think recruiting is like dynasty mode on NCAA.
Amazing that no Foster recruited LBs ever committed until Fuente's arrival...
People actually pay attention to rankings in March?
I guarantee folks will be complaining 8-9 months from now if Fuente and Co sign a whole bunch more 3*s (I won't be one, mind you).
From the limited tape of Evans, I don't think he is bigger, or faster, or has a stronger arm than Motley. Lawson is bigger but needs a lot of work on his throwing mechanics.

He's a junior
