I even proofread it after I wrote it, but I guess alcohol negatively affects my proofreading skills just as it does my writing skills. I found 4 or 5 mistakes. Maybe just wait for the next morning to post the final draft when I'm that inebriated. But regardless, Go Hlkiss!
I was born on the Naval Academy, but other than a few times in my youth, haven't really been back up there. I have friends that like the town, but have proclaimed it packed and crowded. I have considered dropping in sometime to just check it out, but don't know a darned thing about the town. Anybody here know it well enough to recommend spending some time there, or not?
TKP weatherman why no report on possible snow?
No, I want to see a team go from 3rd division to top of the heap champion in 8 years.

some do, most in order to keep up with the big boys in the league put advertisements on em (thats how they earn a good chunk of their spending money)
I guess I should be happy that we have a good enough coach that this is a problem.
Still, I would have preferred that rumor-mongering have waited a week, as to not be a distraction.
There's no stopping the media, though, as they get paid both for speculation and for being the first to break news.
Should be a confusing day for you then.
jesus im in the 99th percentile still... if only i hadnt picked michigan state
A good graduate big man transfer would be great. I also believe one of Pierce, Hamilton will not likely be back. I would think a decision on Outlaw would be made soon, hope he is able to play but needs to be decided.

e Texas A&M football team will enter spring drills Monday without a scholarship tight end after Jordan Davis tweeted Tuesday night that he is transferring.
And a special pair of underpants?
1) I could see Pierce or Hamilton transferring. Both barely played this year, one might want to find some playing time somewhere else. With how active Buzz allegedly is with the 2016 class I think a transfer from somewhere could be expected.
2) Its too early to look at crystal balls, most of the predictions are guesses based off of current offers. After the first EYBL sessions is when you should really start to take notice. Think Markell Johnson is the best bet though. Not sure what bigs are out there that we're involved with
Yeah, but if he couldn't see much of the field here the last couple years, not sure how you could expect him to transfer to Texas A & M and start right off the bat. Hard to imagine that a national program like them would have nothing at TE, unless they run an offense that doesn't utilize the TE much. I would still think he'd have a better chance playing here and being a productive part of the offense, if healthy.
Well a split is pretty good, hopefully we can come up all 3&5s to get more points in the next rounds
Yes, the tweets posted in that topic were not-so-thinly veiled references to Buzz. That day, and even before then, several regional and national beat writers were saying Buzz to OK State was a strong possibility. Perhaps a bit more context was warranted, but Fireman was on the money with the post being about Buzz. Too much pushback from people here thinking it was BS. Maybe it's a bit of rumor-mongering, but Buzz's name has to be in the mix at a few schools; OK State was just the first opening that triggered the talk.
As far as I could tell, those tweets were just about a job opening. Did they have anything to do with Buzz? I read it as "we're inevitably going to have this discussion..." Maybe I misunderstood, but I saw that thread as one that was looking for something that wasn't necessarily there.
As far as rumor-mongering, I really hate that, particularly when it's a VT coach who is being discussed.
That was my objection.
I don't object to you posting threads about that or any other topic. I think it's a fair thing to talk about if it seems to have some legs or there is evidence. If it's just speculation with no proof at all, I'll likely weigh in with an objection.
For the record, I agree with your posts about 99% of the time.
epp got another bonus point and has looked really good since the opening match. We've looked really good so far, but it may be hard to keep OSU at bay but hopefully we can add another couple of 3 or 4s with Haught and Walz.
It still amazes me how fortunate we are, that Strong went to Texas and we picked up Ford in the process. He's one of the all-time great Hokies, for sure.
Why don't teams have their team name on their kits?
I agree wholeheartedly. We were better than BYU, and if we had only had our typical game at the free throw line and with 3-point accuracy, we would have won. We had it all over them in terms of energy and inside play. I think the defensive laps hurt, too, but some of that is expected against a crafty, good offensive team like BYU. Take nothing away from BYU-they're a very good team, but this was a very winnable game. Really proud of the way we played, just wish we could have gotten the W. I think if we had won this game, we likely could have went all the way to the championship game.
I love the way Buzz has these guys playing, so let's hope he sticks around a while, but if he leaves us, I have confidence that Whit will make sure this program is heading in the right direction.
Yea because that's exactly what I did. O wait nope, I posted two tweets by known and respected sports writers who brought up the subject. But you can by all means pretend other schools will not try and lure the VT coaches away. As I stated in the that and every thread, I don't think Buzz leaves this year, but that doesn't mean he was not offered the chance to.
This would probably be a good time to start new threads covering all the job openings that might be tempting to our coaches, so we could explore any cryptic tweets that might be related.
We could maybe have a thread parsing the inflection of the coach's voice statements. It all has to mean something. Did he mention his family? Are they happy? What about the frequency of his tweets? Are they increasing or decreasing? Positive or negative? He's getting along with Whit, right? In that interview, was he looking to the west? OMG, I think he was looking to the west... That can't be good...
With the WR sets Fuente is going to run, he might not have seen himself a good fit or a big time contributor. Fuente's spread is something special. It puts WRs in space with opportunity to make big time plays. Bucky should shine in it with his speed and playmaking ability. I'm sticking with LC, love the fact they were so far down and have done so well. Scrappy team with good traditions. Also liked Crystal Palace, having the eagle and cheerleaders makes them very unique.

PSU is a lock now.
Chisko had nothing for Ashton(Rut) and will wrestle for 5th
Nick B Looked pretty good and will wrestle for 3rd.
Chisko loses to ODU in 5th place match. We are running out of guys
