My goddaughter, who grew up in Blacksburg and has two degrees from VT, moves out to San Diego and informs me she is getting married in October. To which I casually reply, Have a great wedding day, I won't be there. Plans got changed, she got pregnant and they went to a JOP somewhere in sunny Caifornia. Everybody is happy, especially me.
I think this was one of those "I can do anything on live TV, and people will pretend it's cool and they like it because of the artists involved" moments.
Unless you're Kendrick at the Grammys where it was actually cool. Or Gaga at the Oscars.

I kind of think Cassell is one of those good old fashioned "snakepit" arenas, and that it should stay that way.
Just so everyone knows, these are tickets in the student section that haven't been purchased. Any open seats will be what the standby line fills.
I think you took that the wrong way - there are too many cases where there should not be appeals at all because there is not really enough evidence where the death penalty should be an option. The chances of getting this wrong should be 0%. If the evidence is not that good, they should not be on death row. If the evidence is that good, the appeals should be able to be rejected with much less time or money being spent.
