# | Justin Fuente and Staff Embark on Series of Coaching Clinics to Build a Brand in Virginia Anything other than "Brazillian women looking for a hot date" or that could be my fault! :(
I wouldn't know Comey from Adam, but that quote, especially the part about Comey having a background in selling insurance, struck me more as an instance of a man who wanted to be wined and dined and given a sales pitch. From everything I've heard, it sounds like Burden is way more business, straight to the point, directly to the recruits themselves than treating the head coach as a gatekeeper. Burden's Twitter presence certainly seems to support a more direct approach to the players themselves.
Nothing against Comey, but his quote sounded more like he wanted to work with a recruiter who was going to go out to dinner and spend four hours just bullshitting. And in that regard, I definitely think Stinespring was cut from that cloth.

# | Justin Fuente and Staff Embark on Series of Coaching Clinics to Build a Brand in Virginia Alex you did a fantastic job composing this article with very refreshing material. I cannot recall a more detailed representation of HS coaches comments and thoughts from an event such as this. Of course I am biased, but in an effort to react objectively to the article, my feeling from the report reflected a growing confidence and positive trajectory from the new staff to the recruiting regions in VA. Me likey!
Great read, Alex. I am really interested to see how these initial interactions evolve into relationships over time. It is interesting to hear the perception of Scott, especially. As I read, it seemed to me that he was presenting as if he were the DC and running "his" defense. Managing that interaction between Scott, who is presumably in his current position to learn from Foster and likely be viewed as a successor, and Foster, who is actually in charge, will be a primary challenge for Fuente. I think we'll learn a lot about him as a result.
Can you incorporate "quality-ass stories" in the branding of TKP somehow? Like a front-page banner or targeted web ads?
Oh great, now I have to explain to my wife that I spent $84 on some quality ass.
Very good article Alex. Our new HC is doing all the right things and we have not even had our first parctice yet. I can't wait until the 2016 season because I believe something special is brewing in Blacksburg. GO HOKIES!!
Stinespring was a salesman...but I'm not sure about Burden.
Get this man to the Michael Scott School of Business:

Awesome things to hear out of the coaches in the 757. Particular of note was that Comey said that CFB had basically just stopped coming there. I think that had to do some with the lack of top guys we were getting out of the 757. This new emphasis on relationships in VA is exciting. Glad to hear they all seem very impressed with CJF as well. Can't wait for spring ball and more important, Liberty. Go Hokies!
LSU has a tattoo of the name "Eva" on their hand too?
You just keep that quality-ass coming.

# | Justin Fuente and Staff Embark on Series of Coaching Clinics to Build a Brand in Virginia And you get a badass key symbol next to your name!
How unique is this? I couldn't picture Saban/Jimbo/Harbaugh taking the time, with their entire staff no less, to meet, greet, and teach about their respective philosophies, but they might do something similar.
I can really only imagine positives from taking such a personal approach to interact with coaches in the state. Well done, Fuente.
Alex how many coaches expressed concern about Burden?
Louisiana doesn't have a monopoly on that by any means.
Incredible article, Alex. My reaction:

This is true. As difficult as it is to believe, a good bit of the problem has been created by providing TOO MUCH money to universities through student loans.
Student loans are breaking budgets of students and parents, and they're raising the cost of education, not lowering it.
If you want to raise the cost of something, make the funding unlimited, and make it really easy to get.
Super work Alex- Thank You!
Great stuff. I'm excited about the future and it seems that Fuente gets it.
A couple of things that caught my attention:
- Beamer didn't travel to the 757 as much. DOH!
- Some concerns on Zohn's recruiting abilities.
Alex, this turned out to be an excellent and insightful read. Y'all have no idea how giddy I was after Koma shared how each interview went.
On another note, I know I've probably beat most of you other the head with The Key Players Club, but your support of TKP enables us to crank out quality-ass stories.
"I could kinda tell, he's a little bit of a badass,"
awesome
...I'm not a smart man
I agree. A couple more signature wins, an NIT bid, or a successful ACC tourney will put him there.
He's going to get there. No rush.

Can confirm.
