I won't be there, but will be at the first two rounds of the ncaa tourney in Raleigh for a 15+ year tradition with my dad. I highly recommend it for any hoops fans. Tailgate all morning, go to two afternoon games, come out of the arena and tailgate for dinner then go watch the two night caps. Then we'll watch the winners play 2 days later. Hopefully well get a chance to watch tech there soon!

I think the overwhelming point of the show is that the living are the walking dead, and the living are the real threat. The wall keeps out walkers but the only defense against people is to fight.

To be overly simplistic, A box-and-1 is a defense where 4 of the defenders play a zone typically at the four corners of the key and the remaining defender is matched up in a man-to-man against a player on the offense who is a threat to score. So basically a zone with one dude playing man.

This is the salient point. Buzz has taken on the unenviable job of resurrection, and it doesn't make sense that he would desire to leave before he could satisfy himself that he had accomplished the mission that led him to leave Marquette for the "hinterlands" in the first place. Yes, dream job could call, and I would understand that, but Buzz seems to be about more than money, and I believe he at least "loves the one he's with" right now. I don't look for him to be coach for life or anything, but I'd be surprised if he left before he could honestly feel like he did what he set out to do.

Yeah, do it. One in her name, one in yours, and then encourage her to join in the comments. I have a feeling she'd be fun to read. I can't join right now, but I gladly encourage you to spend YOUR money!

It doesn't make any sense to me that he'd leave a fantastic and established program to go work on a lesser one, just to try and get another job.

Kind of like leaving Marquette and his Sweet 16s to come to Blacksburg?

Don't get me wrong, I was thrilled he was hired and love having him here. But I would not call our recent basketball history "Fantastic" or "Established"

Why are so many people talking about Buzz potentially leaving? I just don't see the reason for him leaving Tech so quickly for a "bigger" job. He was the coach at Marquette and had several NCAA appearances including Sweet 16s. It doesn't make any sense to me that he'd leave a fantastic and established program to go work on a lesser one, just to try and get another job.

Co-Lead. But I understand your confusion. And I'm sure it helps a bunch to have a wealthy father to buy off the press in an effort to cover up one's countless misdemeanors and "harmless mistakes". Btw, what is gano's role with Penske exactly?

Same boat, requested Allisons and got Pearson. Doesn't much matter, most people will be watching on the giant video screen anyway.
