Co-Lead. But I understand your confusion. And I'm sure it helps a bunch to have a wealthy father to buy off the press in an effort to cover up one's countless misdemeanors and "harmless mistakes". Btw, what is gano's role with Penske exactly?
Same boat, requested Allisons and got Pearson. Doesn't much matter, most people will be watching on the giant video screen anyway.
I hope the arches at Cassell can hold him!
I agree!
Denny's travel from obvious meth addict to the backup teammate to Kyle Busch has been nothing short of amazing!
Always nice to see people recognize a future Hall of Famer early like
LoganoHamlin!
FTFY. Sure, no problem! Always happy to assist!
that doesn't include the terms "revitalized, golden age, prime, better, or success or similar" is probably a 100% correct and accurate analysis, as such terms are not even equal to the task of describing Hamlin's talent and accomplishments.
Now yer gettin it.
you are leasing the maroon one and the payment is effort.

Frank Beamer is from Fancy Gap Virginia, he was born in NC though.
Glad you see things my way!

Frank Beamer is from North Carolina though. I know VT was his alma mater but still who knows what is truly in a coaches head.
Got my four seats through the lottery drawing. Can't wait to be jumping with 70,000 Hokies.

Does anyone know is Bristol has Uber/Lyft/Cabs or will buying a parking pass be the best option?
Settle is the David Wilson of heavyweights
I can't wait to see Tim Settle do a back-flip.
I don't think anyone's suggesting that moving on after 2 years here was his plan, but plans often change, and a check with a lot of zeroes at the end can go a long way toward accelerating that change. I personally believe that his intent when he got here was to stick around at least 4 or 5 years, and that he has enough talent on the roster and support from the university that he wants to do that, but I wouldn't be shocked if someone else made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Sure, we all love Blacksburg, and all indications are that Buzz loves it here too, but it's far from a basketball "destination". Heck, even Frank Beamer once almost left for Chapel Hill.
You have the six reps of Sonic?
I'm not saying it's completely avoidable. We played 5 games before the semester started up: 2 Home, 1 Away, 1 Home, 1 Away. The last one was the weekend before the semester started. Everyone will play home games without classes in session, they should try to limit it. When everyone is on break the schedule could be pretty even, once classes start up again, the schools still on break would play away. The weekend before classes start could be counted as classes in session, so that Georgia Tech game could've been played at home. I just think it's avoidable to play 3 home games during break, when there is a limited number of ACC home games to begin with. Example: Wake Forest classes began on Jan. 12, we played them in Cassell on Jan. 13 before our semester started, then will play them away on Feb. 28. You can switch those up and both schools will have students in session and we would have only played 2 home games during break.
I will fry silhouetted bacon all over your head. I had a friend play as the ice climbers and I hated those guys you couldn't knock them both off at the same time.
Don't believe the hype. There are only 150 pokemon!
I called VT ticket office yesterday and they said that you have to be a season ticket holder or Hokie Club member to order one from VT office. They also only sell the whole booklet, which costs somewhere around $450 for lower bowl at verizon center and somewhere in $300-$350 range for upper bowl.
Edit: I also asked my connection at Verizon Center/Monumental Sports about tournament tickets and they said that they only sell Tuesday tickets. For rest of the days, you have to ask one of the ACC schools.
This guy!!

Yeah it is all just bitching and moaning from folks. The JGR cars were strong all speed weeks and Hamlin has been a good plate racer. The biggest surprise was the lack of strength from the Hendrick cars (SHR included since they run hendrick engines). Jr was strong only when he was up front. Kahne and Johnson were very underwhelming. Elliot was put in a bad spot and spun out but he wasn't the only person to have that happen to.
I agree with your last point. Buzz could leave today for another job and I would still appreciate the hell out of what he did here. Hopefully that won't happen for a few more years, but things like that happen all the time in college basketball. Honestly, I'd love to see Buzz go to the NBA one day, after winning at least four national titles here at VT first. Maybe five.

> That is a blatant and gross underscoring of Hamlin's natural raw talent (something money can't buy).
The raw talent that let a gimpy Busch driving an essentially identical car run circles around him last year, along with the aging Kenseth?
> I wouldn't call finishing 6th overall as well as requiring underhanded but painfully obvious and failed attempts at tricks in order maybe get a win or improve positioning prime.
So what would you call the success he has found at Penske, anything that doesn't include the terms "revitalized, golden age, prime, better, or success or similar" is probably a sadly homersitic, underwhelming, and all around poor analysis.

Why are so many people talking about Buzz potentially leaving? I just don't see the reason for him leaving Tech so quickly for a "bigger" job. He was the coach at Marquette and had several NCAA appearances including Sweet 16s. It doesn't make any sense to me that he'd leave a fantastic and established program to go work on a lesser one, just to try and get another job.
