True. And maybe the fact that he was American also added pressure because we want the best in every sport and push for it at a very young age.
Kind of feel bad for Freddy. I think getting thrown into the spotlight that early took a lot away from his development as a player because it became more about delivering now than continue to learn the game. Hard to have watched after his initial United stint, considering he has played for 13 teams all over the world and his career is considered by many to just about be over at the ripe old age of 26. Last I saw he was down in the NASL somewhere. When many would just be starting their careers post college, Adu already has 12 years of professional soccer behind him.

# | Spirited Zach LeDay Powers Hokies to 60-57 Victory Over Clemson In the game thread, we were immediately calling for a gif of Buzz and the toweling of the ref. Camera guy caught it perfectly. Definitely one of those moments where you see the little kid in Buzz coming through.
Basically, what I see from this article is that Buzz came to VT because other ACC teams come to our home court and we needed help.
That and Buzz has a plan and it's working.
Spur of the moment we rode up to Bburg yesterday. Figured that if we couldn't get tix, burgers at Mike's would suffice as reason enough for the trip. We did find some tickets, fortunately.
Best Buzz moment of the game... Bald ref walks by Buzz, and Buzz uses his towel to wipe off the ref's head.

I find that WatchESPN's garbage tracking works marginally better when it isn't in full screen.
That is all.
This has been a long standing effort. It (VA Tech) is easier on the tongue to say, but less formal. It makes good sense to go with 'VATech' for sports, and VPI&SU for formal stuf like diplomas. Just my 2 cents. ..

Doing a lot better job of locking down in-state talent than VT for the past few years... and facing pretty much the same competition.
Trying to watch on WatchESPN. Stuck in a commercial loop after the first break. Six commercials, immediately repeated with the same six commercials, then followed by six new ones (so far). Afraid to fast forward because the last time WatchESPN would either skip to the beginning or the end of the game (spoiler). Anybody know how to get around this?

Others were just hanging with the rest of the recruits with Wiles and Cornelson seated near them. Laborn obviously a huge target
Looking for reasons we won this game? Good defense, only 8 turnovers and VT bench outscored Clemson bench 32-0.

I love how kids are replying to Fuente's tweets with their Hudl highlight video. There's definitely a new energy around this coaching staff, I love it.
Sad to say but this really is me.
I like how the team wore maroon instead of the home whites while Clemson wore orange.
