The early enrollees. Evans goes without saying. Ladler will be tremendous if healthy. Terrific hips allow him to disguise leverage coverage and then flip to a different look. And I would expect that all three early enrollee receivers will get playing time next season.

He looks very versatile. Bud Foster will know what to do with him. Enjoy Virginia Tech and the New River Valley, Tyree. It can be four to five very good years for you.

I believe we offered a spot as a preferred walk-on. The thought of two free educations instead one probably was the real reason.

We may never know the whole story, I like to believe people aren't inherently evil. What if late last night his mom came to him and said "I can't afford to go see both of you play in different states, I need you to go together so I can see both my sons play college ball." I am probably naive in this case, but I just can't imagine a kid posting all of this VT stuff for as long as he did knowing full well he would not be picking us.

As a couple of us predicted last night. it wa sjust too overt. These guys like to have some fun with this process.

This kid is an athlete, like to see what French and Joe think of his tape and where he fits into Fuente and Co. Playbook.

Any time you don't get a player who you expend a lot of resources on, it hurts. It doesn't matter if it is 5* or a 3*, if you spend money and time on them, you want them.

Like I said we were getting played. Wearing the Tech gear and posting videos the day before signing day, leading everyone to believe that they were going to commit to Virginia Tech is not the kind of players we want anyway. We use to wonder if we were going to get any new 4 star players on signing day. No huge loss here, this does not hurt like Joshua Sweat did. Give Fuente some time to turn things around. We got some good players from Virginia and in particular the 757. Go Hokies!!!

Close games (1 possession games or OT games):

If you want to include UNC (5 point loss) and Louisville (8 point loss), we are 5-6.
