I honestly believe the people of North Korea are so completely indoctrinated, I don't see a path back for them toward reunification with the South. I agree, they aren't bad people, but could that culture ever reintegrate with western civilization?

I think the irony of the post is that House is pretty much the exact same show over and over and over again. Someone is hospitalized for some strange reason. House figures out what is wrong right away and strings along his minions while they try to figure it out. When they fail at the end he does something unconventional and ill advised but it works and the patient is saved.

Foster clearly knows how to coach, I wont downvote, because its not entirely inaccurate.

Take this last year out as an anomily, hes a top 5 defensive coordinator, its not even debatable.

His achilies heal, as well as a lot of coaches, is the spread or its running QBs. If you look at percent of drives held without points as a metric for defensive efficiency:

VT Against Different Schemes
Multiple --- 86.1
Option ---- 82.8
Pro ------- 82.4
Spread ---- 76.4
Total ------ 81.0

Against Teams with Rushing QB's
74.6

I mean, something you kind of know watching Virginia Tech football, their defense struggles with rushing quarterbacks, but this just puts a metric on it. It will be interesting to see if Bud takes a look at TCU's defense more, theyve done well against spread teams with thier 4-2-5 defense. Im not saying he SHOULD change anything with his schemes, Im just saying it would be interesting if he does look at them more with Fuente now on staff.

Snow started falling here in the 804, just before 10am. Now it's getting heavy, and has been building on the roads for the past hour or so.

I can't remember if I was at a particular game or not (may have only seen it on TV, but I think I was there), but I do recall my favorite basketball game. We made DJ Strawberry's night a living hell when Maryland came to town. That was fun.

I thought this gif was reserved for he who shall not be named?

11 AM, Christiansburg. Looks like the dry hole is here. Snow rates have slowed and the radar shows the dry hole just getting to the Roanoke area. So, for the next hour or so we will get much less snow. We will see what this afternoon will bring. I have a yardstick set up in the yard. We are at 8+ inches right now. Its 19 degrees right now, snow is very lite and dry.

That makes me happier than it probably should
