I find it odd that they are taking a pay cut when most of the others seemed to get raises,but maybe there are incentives as well.
Not buying one the new Baroness as their heaviest album see red or blue or my fav the split they did. I used to love these guys, especially since they're from Lexington, but the past couple of albums have been let downs for me. I did like Petes other project Valkyrie last album kind of late70s style rock.

If I didn't know my Greek, I would have thought this was a fraternity's recruitment video in which they just gave a bunch of girls stuff with their letters on it and grabbed a camera. Do these really work on other girls? Not sure who their target audience is.

I'm still just amazed by this whole development. This kind of late game heroics just never seemed to happen for VT. This may well be my greatest VT sports experience of all time. Just magical.
The only thing close was watching the Les Henson heave to beat FSU in my dorm room in Pritchard on a tiny black and white TV with a clothes hanger antennae...

# | AD Whit Babcock Promises Uniform, Fundraising, Facilities Changes Coming in 2016 I wish we could make the LOLUVA/VT game a permeant Friday after Thanksgiving game. Call it the Turkey bowl and make it the post Thanksgiving game to watch. While the "woman" are out shopping the "men" stay home and watch UVA/VT game. Make the game synonymous with thanksgiving make it an annual tradition for people around the country.

I guess the one drawback is competition with high school football, which takes away some recruits seeing the game on tv, but shouldn't affect those making visits (I think most visits are only done on Thursday if they have a high school bye anyway) I really liked the black Friday game even though the student numbers are down during thanksgiving break. I have no problem substituting Thursday with Friday.
Edit: I just thought if this, but Thursday games would allow the VT coaches to hit up some Friday night high school games on the recruiting trail. Not sure how significant that is though.

Big surprise seems like a talented bunch. They didnt perform that great for a veteran group. Even Maddys All ACC season seemed underwhelming even with it being a thankless job. Im not a fan of the three man front that removes a DT from the field. (at least with that personell group) DT was the strongest position on the D and removing one on numerous snaps seemed counter productive at times. Made the D even smaller and didnt seem to increase speed and athleticism.
FUMA vs. Collegiate back in the day was the best for me. Russell Wilson vs. Brandon Caleb and his crew of flunkies was pretty special.

BC can recruit some good offensive lines, or at least have in the past. Lefty could be successful with his offense if the qb has time to run through the options.
My dad went to Episcopal, as did his two brothers. He once took me to "The Game" against Woodberry Forest, and that was the best high school football environment I ever saw (although I've never been to a Texas or Florida hs game).
You are correct. I was sure somebody would argue that heads would have a better chance since the odds were defied flipping 9 straight tails, but I guess TKP community is just too smart.

Yup, Peach was the best one. I always found Luigi tough to control with his legs flailing around all over the place.

Really?! I liked it soooo much more than Kendrick's album. It definitely has to be listened to in order, and there's really not a single on it, but it's just soooo classic west coast. As an album, I like it more than 2001 (which definitely has better singles, but isn't something I care to listen to start-to-finish IMO). I don't think anything could touch The Chronic.
Well pretty sure he either played or coached at Michigan because of his Tom Brady ties. So I'm guessing it won't matter to him.

Scary thought: Would Josh Jackson decommit from Virginia Tech and commit to Boston College if Lefty got the job? Jackson already holds a scholarship offer from them.
