I wholeheartedly disagree. Money is not the only factor, likely not the biggest factor, and may not even be a factor at all. Torrian and Wiles are part of the family. They're Bud's guys. They're our guys. They legitimately love Blacksburg and Virginia Tech. Also, they both have families, and kids in school, which makes it tougher to leave. Cornelson is seemingly Fuente's best friend. He probably isn't all that worried about the pay gap between he and Bud.

The only guys I think have a real shot at being gone anytime soon are Scott and Burden. I think they'll both get coordinator offers in the not too distant future.

you have a better chance of being crushed and killed by a vending machine than winning the powerball.

Too bad the Pritchard courtyard cannot buy a ticket.

I would disagree that the lyrical and story-telling aspects aren't there, however, they are MUCH more subtle and nuanced than GCMC. As a result, it's somewhat less accessible to people who don't really put the time in to focus on the album and digest it, and that might be turning you off. My biggest problem with the album is that there are maybe two songs that can stand on their own. If "King Kunta" or "The Blacker the Berry" comes up on shuffle, they're easy to pick up and listen to. But the rest of the album basically HAS to be listened to as an album, which to me is a real downside. I think if that J. Cole/Kendrick collab actually drops this year, it'll be a lot more accessible, and much more enjoyable to listen to.

Thanks for your service!

I hate this house so much. Lived at 206 Harding Avenue, right behind this house, before he built it. A year later, this ugly ass monstrosity is right there blocking the view to downtown and there's a brick wall right up to our backyard. This house doesn't fit Blacksburg and I sure as hell wish my fraternity still had bros in my old house, lobbing empty kegs into his back yard.

By the way, just read that you have a better chance of being crushed and killed by a vending machine than winning the powerball.

That's an interesting story, but there's a stark difference between Seaman Schmuckatelli and I: The Navy paid for my undergrad, and is currently paying to train me to be paid to fly their airplanes. They're not just gonna discharge me. And honestly, I wouldn't want them to.

I didn't, hadn't heard of him. My biggest regret is never going to the bluegrass jam at the county store...I think that was Giles County though.

Well that's not true. The draft process is a roller coaster and guys rise and fall throughout the process. No one is guaranteed anything. A "stay in school" guy can rise to the 1st and a "1st round" guy can easily tumble down draft boards for whatever reason. Scouts are wrong a lot of the time.

Better do it in the summer

LeDay has been a huge addition in the frontcourt as both a stretch-four and a defensive paint presence

Despite the UVa game, calling LeDay a "strech 4" is....a bit of a strech

I see changes coming in the staff after this year. These changes don't quite seem even across the board.

Also, our new OC makes much less than our DC. I understand it's Bud, but that isn't going to sit for long with an offense minded coach in the future, unless Cornelsen's pay is less because Fuente has some of the OC duties...).

Hmmmm. Either the amount of funds available goes up next year or we will see more changes in a year. And, I don't expect TG to stay after this year.

Agree to disagree. A first down doesn't have the same value as a long touchdown play. Bucky would have to drop a LOT of short passes to make up for one overthrown wide-open streak route.

He's not a possession receiver and Tech didn't need him to be. Tech needed him to blow the roof off of secondaries. Unfortunately he wasn't given the opportunity too very often.

Part of me thinks there has to be a typo in there. I can't imagine why Burden, who did a great job last year, gets an $85k raise, but Torrien gets a $15k pay cut.

Edit: whoops, thought burden went to $260k, not 200.

hhhRRoollllllll Tiiiiiiiiiide...

only thing cool about Alabama, I wish we had a call like that like ."Seewoouuuuiiiiiieeeeeeeee!"

You can use it all the time:

Proud to say that I dated several DGs. Best sorority on VT campus. And probably Miami's too.

As a professional yacht broker for the past 3.5 years, I've never ever seen anything remotely like this except on the internet.

Awesome video, but it's not going to help recruiting (for the football team at least).

Fine....if the U wants to field a football team of girls in bikini's then they are in great shape.
I think our O-Line wins the battle in the trenches against these girls for sure....
