I'm talking raw talent. We've already seen Rey use telepathy, mind control and telekinesis. The only power we saw Luke use before he trained with Yoda was telekinesis, and he didn't have another person trying to pull that lightsaber in another direction on Hoth.
Also, I'm talking about being strong in the Force, not training rank. Some people just have a stronger connection to the Force than others, regardless of how much training they've received. Anakin's was stronger in the Force than anyone the Jedi Order had ever found. That doesn't mean he was a Jedi Master as soon as he started training under Obi-Wan.
Oh no. Sorry. Not even remotely close. And American Idiot, Dookie and 21st Century Breakdown. Any one of those single albums absolutely p*wn whatever Muse has EVER put out combined.
Ahh, ok. I see. Dang, Gag Tech has a terrible record for each of their appearances.
It'd definitely be good to see a fire lit in Motley. He showed he had the guts and I too felt bad for him that Miami game.
One thing I hope is that he can find a rhythym and sharpen those passes. I tended to hold my breath because Motley's passes more than often appeared to arrive a half-second late. But that's understandable given he was thrust into the fold as the contingency plan. Motley was really good when he was in the groove and the game slowed down.
I hope he does better under Fuente and that our new QB whisperer can help guide him and then we will really have a QB battle. I love QB battles!

Edited to add Millencolin-True Brew
It's really too bad... Dude's got a badass name.
^ Bingo! I still remember one NFL Scout talk about the talent at Miami and how he couldn't understand how this team underperformed so badly. I believe it was 2014 or 2013 at the NFL combine.
Pretty sure the Memohis S&C guy went to Missouri, did he not?
The hire may not be official but Fuente is bringing his guy from Memphis. That is why Gentry is retiring; he was not retained in an administrative capacity and does not want to leave the area.
Negatory ghost rider, you would have to have Corey Moore with his eyes, followed by Frank Beamer, Bud Foster and Bruce Smith
Pete Warrick's entrance at the 99 Championship game was pretty good.
The Big 10 and Big 12 both got smashed.
B1G top three teams that played P5 opponents:
#3 Michigan State lost 38-0
#5 Iowa lost 45-16
#13 Northwestern lost 45-6
Big 12:
#4 Oklahoma lost 37-17
#11 TCU is going to get pounded with their QB suspended
#16 OK State lost 48-20
I think it does deserve its own thread. I don't see it changing because the Rose Bowl isn't going to budge from its spot.
Motley had some pretty good games
I'll withhold judgement until I watch Evans and Motley and Lawson battle it out in the spring, but I am quite intrigued about what Motley is capable of under Fuente.
Yeah, the games that matter should be on Jan 1. Most people have other things to do on the 31st... Maybe watch the peach bowl but that's it.
Chris Stapleton - Traveller
Anderson East - Delilah
Enough people know about Stapleton, but I discovered Anderson East when I saw him open for Sturgill Simpson in Knoxville. It was just him acoustically and I couldn't get a read on him so I started browsing YouTube and found his Muscle Shoals Sessions......wow. Soul, horns, energy!
Delilah came out and start to finish is easy to listen to, something for everyone.
I'm already tired of this celebration and it's only been 1-2 weeks that I've noticed people doing it. But with bowl week this week, it seems most of the celebrations on every play and score is this thing in approximately 25+ games between College and NFL.
In other news, what gave me the ultimate eye roll today was Zeke Elliot's belly shirt demonstration after his touchdown today. His last way to say screw the NCAA who made the rule this year (most likely due to him last year) that the player has to play with his jersey down.
Yea it was actually the album that made me want to learn. And yes, I agree! Jerry Douglas is great, but Rob just makes it seem so effortless and always plays the right note at the right time. He and Andy Hall from the Infamous Stringdusters are my favorite dobro players, followed by Jerry Douglas and Mike Auldridge.
Rob's side project Three Ring Circle is great too. It's him, Greg Pomeroy, and Andy Leftwitch who is basically Rob's equivalent on the mandolin. Andy is a phenomenal instrumentalist. This is Rob and Andy performing one of Rob/Blue Highway's originals Monrobro. It's absurd how much talent these two have.
And yea man, it's way harder than it sounds. Been playing guitar for 12 years and figured it be a pretty easy transition, but after playing dobro for 2 years now too, I still feel like I haven't learned anything at all haha
I've never seen this many blow outs in the major bowls before. There were eight big bowls between NYE and NYD and the closest one was a 14 point game. The average margin of victory was 28 points.
See BlueHokies post below
Evans is the number one ranked Juco QB recruit, and #7 Juco player overall by 247sports, with a 94 rating. For comparison, the #1 Juco QB last year was Chad Kelly, #37 overall and rated 87. Kelly had one of the best seasons in SEC history this year for Ole Miss, and is destroying OK State right now in the Sugar Bowl.
It's true that he's the shiny new toy and has a years-long connection to CJF, but that's not why he's highly regarded. He's very good.
You are right. Most of the best football players dont look like football players anymore. I saw Chris Long in a bar a while back and I didnt recognize him for the longest time, didnt even think of him as playing football, much less being an NFL defensive lineman. But what a powerful athlete
See I disagree, my wife and I and three kids were all home and I watched both games whistle to whistle.

But enough people didn't for the to CFP brass to hit the panic button. Down 36% could be catastrophic if the networks promised advertisers a certain numbers rating. Even if they didn't, advertisers won't be excited at the drop and will think twice about if the investment is a smart one.
