It was probably the sheer decline this year from last, after giving him the GM power, which he apparently did not want to return.

So it was probably Kelly the GM that got fired, but the coach was part of the package deal.

Well in all fairness to Vader, the man had some asthma issues. So he had to fight that way. I doubt he could fight with the same agility as Darth Maul, without the risk of having a panic attack.

That's pretty much where I'm at.

He does add a level of entertainment to the game. I was flipping over to the Foster Farms Bowl after ours, and during the Redskins game, hoping for a penalty to see Ron call it. One of those times was the targeting review with ejection, complete with hand motion.

I believe his style of play could work in the NFL. I think it's him that needs to change if he wants to be successful in the NFL. He wanted full control of the team, even the administration duties, and it seemed like he has a "my way or the highway" attitude. That attitude works in college, when your players are still teenagers, but I can see that rubbing "professionals" the wrong way. Yes, every coach needs that attitude to a certain extent but I felt like he was out to prove something and was willing to burn bridges with anyone standing in his way.

If he doesn't want to change and not have to control everything in the organization, then he needs to go back to the college level where he can do that and I'm sure he'll be successful. But his style of football was effective in the NFL and if he changes his management style, I think he can be successful with another NFL team.

(Note: the above is what I have perceived about Chip Kelly. I could be completely wrong and it was his style of football and not his management style that cost him his job but I'm just calling it like I see it.)

Abrams said that he wanted to go back to the original trilogy style of lightsaber battles and those were the two-handed, strong swinging, heavy impact fights, unlike the quick, CGI-filled battles you saw in the prequels. Vader fought with a similar style to Kylo.
