Don't even look at Coach K and Duke
He is 5 - 26 in winning the NCAA Tournament. Atleast Coach K is 10 - 2 in NCAA Final Four Games
Also Poor Tom Izzo, is at 1 - 17 in winning the NCAA Tournament and 2-5 in the Final Four
yes, /s
A major factor in the leeway granted the First Order, and something that enabled them to build so rapidly is that they were largely operating in uncharted space. Before his death, Palpatine set out to try and find the place from which Sith power originated, and expanded into the outer edges of the galaxy and beyond. The First Order rose in these far reaches, and their growth was unchecked because they were pretty much the only ones in the neighborhood, and the New Republic seemingly didn't know where that neighborhood was.
Bruton had a committable offer while at OS. Something changed when he went to Lake Taylor.
Its almost exactly what you said. At least be accountable for the shit you post.
I am lead to believe that he had an offer, then changed high schools. And after that change, we rescinded our offer. This is all true only because you pay a monthly fee to see #sauces put it in writing? Are you starting to see why we think this makes no sense?
Interesting stuff, it all makes sense for the most part. Pretty effectively answers the questions I posed above, so my apologies for not reading a bit further and seeing the answer you had already provided. Still a bit curious as to how the clear and obvious aggression of the First Order (they seemingly did as they pleased) and the characters, particularly early in the film, rarely mentioned the Republic and the feel was the the First Order was the feared group in control and that they were the ones dictating how people acted. Seems like the Republic, even with slow, bureaucratic responsiveness, should have taken notice and interest in this growing perception amongst the people in the Galaxy. GRANTED, we are talking about a Galaxy, much harder to govern.
10! I honestly have been confused why my classmate from high school's wife was hawking car stuff on facebook. This clears that up. And reminds me that I'm an idiot.
This 100% this. If you want to know the full breakdown. Get a subscription I can't post stuff behind pay wall.
See below for the official statements of the situation from the Visual Dictionary.
Basically just like her mom Leia got fed up trying to prepare the NR for war through politics.
After some battles after Endor, concluding in a big one over Jakku, where the OTHER Super Star Destroyer ans regular SD wrecks came from, an armistice gets signed and arms control treaties go into effect.
After that just add in a few decades of political ennui and the Imperial Remnant seemingly acting in good faith, and it is easy to see how Leia and Ackbar could be seen by many as rabble rousers and war mongers picking a fight the Republic ready for yet.
I dont really know why they would say Bruton doesnt have an offer,
a quick look at both their twitter accounts, they themselves and Hokie recruiting's twitter handle seem to think they have offers. Im not really sure how us offering them, getting them to visit, etc classifies Torrian Gray as dropping the ball?
If you consider that it is not known why the HS change was made, it could make a lot of sense. As has been said, there is a lot going on that we don't know, nor will ever know. And some things are known, but will never be put on message boards by responsible people.
That's not what I said at all I can't post everything needed because most of it is behind a paywall. But let's just say a certain coach had Wayne Davis and Bruton wrapped up, even offering them scholarships. However another coach didn't want to mess with them. If you have a sub go to 247 and search the Tunnel about Bruton. You will get all you need to know on the situation.
You're beating a dead horse with the "any film breakdown French does should be taken with a grain of salt." angle. It doesn't make sense for your argument. I'm neither agreeing with nor disagreeing with your argument in general. I'm simply pointing out that the analogy you've made between recruiting services and French doesn't make any sense for your argument. French is an amateur film analyst who does this as a hobby and to help people who don't have the football IQ that he does try to understand the game a little more. I think everyone here takes what they want from French. I, personally, love his write ups because I didn't play football and his reviews help me to understand the game on a deeper level than I ever thought I'd be able to. I still don't take anything and everything he says (writes) as absolute undisputed fact. I know I'm not the only one in that boat. People on TKP have questioned French before and they will continue to do so in the future. It's one of the beautiful characteristics of TKP...the community fosters healthy discussions.
Trying to argue that "if you're going to call recruiting services amateurs then you have to concede that French's work must be taken with a grain of salt" does absolutely nothing to fortify your argument that the recruiting services actually know what they're talking about. To this point I have no idea how credible these services are and your argument does little to convince me that they are actually credible. If anything, comparing them to French in this manner does more to convince me that they are amateurs than anything else. It's a weak argument and you should take another angle.
pretty sure we can go on like this till the game is over. 9
That is also why 247 has a composite score. Look at someone like Demetri Moore. 247 doesn't have him ranked except for their generic 3 star rank (that's going to change soon hopefully) But he is still a high 3 in their composite. Offers and commits from certain schools absolutely have an effect on the ratings. It has been discussed as much by CZY in the last 12 hrs. However the kids they do rate are pretty accurate.
However you are correct the kids with multiple P5 offers are more likely to get rated in a timely fashion. Then you have the kids that aren't even rated because they only have one year of starting HS ball under their belt.
But to call them amateurs is uninformed.
So what you're saying is that we offered a scholarship to a prospect, and because he switched high schools we changed our mind? I just cannot envision any coach calling a recruit and saying "Lolz jk about that offer now that you changed high schools". It, along with some of your statements, make no sense.
Yeah, he actually believes he did nothing wrong
I want to preface this comment by saying that, by all accounts, Seth Blatter is a shit of human being.
That being said, there's a lot of cultures where bribery isn't seen as immoral or corrupt - they just view it as paying for a service, no different than paying for a haircut. So, it's quite possible that he really doesn't understand why he's in trouble.
Tokyo Sexwale is a strong candidate, but don't count out the darkhorse.

One problem, though, is that while professional scouts are good at what they do, they aren't scouting the majority of recruits. The pool of recruits is too large to do film breakdown on every recruit, so by and large the recruiting services stick with the established pipelines/major high school football programs. In-depth analysis probably goes into the ratings of a few hundred recruits, probably nowhere near a thousand. Those recruits round out the Top 250/Top 247/Top 300 and the recruits who just missed that cut. But for the vast army of 2 and 3 star recruits, the services base the initial ranking almost exclusively on who has offered them. They lean on the analysis of the programs themselves to get a kid on their radar. Then they might look over the tape on a kid the missed and bump them up a little. There's just too much evidence that offers affect rankings to assume in-depth independent analysis of all recruits by the services.
Popular candidate for replacement of Sepp Blatter is African candidate Tokyo Sexwale. The web of scandal isn't the only thing that sounds funny at FIFA.
Ok gospel might not be the right word. However if we are going to acceptb247 evaluators amateurs and they do that for a living any film breakdown French does should be taken with a grain of salt.
That's what pee bibs are for. I'll put one in your stocking.
No worries, not concerned about being cited. Just was making sure people knew how much larger its gotten. Lot of folks at DOJ hoping to make a career out of FIFA. My buddies that are way more into futbol have said there are expectations that even the 39 number could grow to somewhere in the 130-140 range once the first level of deals are made to get the people that put up the real money behind the bribes. Most of those people unfortunately will be a hell of a lot more difficult to extradite than the FIFA officials caught in Switzerland.
I have yet to see anyone claim French's work as gospel so your argument still makes no sense to me. Again, I have no idea whether the talent evaluators at 247 are pros or 'trash amateurs' so I can't really comment on that. Your argument that calling them amateurs equates to calling French an amateur doesn't make sense. That is all.

Throw the thanksgiving leftovers away man. That stuff is definitely bad.

Not the visiting team...
