Bruton had a committable offer while at OS. Something changed when he went to Lake Taylor. Also in other news, TCB and CZY are cool as hell IRL aren't they?

For the DV people go read this. Here

I don't have a dog in this fight, so jokes aside, this will be my last comment on the topic.

I know virtually nothing about the inner workings of the recruiting world. I know nothing about the way coaches conduct their business on the recruiting trail nor do I know anything about how the recruit ranking services function.

That being said, French is absolutely an amateur in the sense that you're placing him in. Yes, he has extensive playing background and he is undeniably extremely knowledgeable about the game of football. However, he does his film reviews for the benefit of a public online community and, If I'm not mistaken, because he really enjoys doing it. He's not, to my knowledge, being compensated accordingly for his efforts. Because he does his film reviews for fun as a hobby, it does not matter what the quality of his work is when referring to him as either an amateur or a professional.

I think it is silly for you to imply that French is a professional film analyst in your analogy because French is not a professional film analyst. He may very well be as knowledgeable, or even more so, than a professional, but he does it as a hobby, not as a source of income.

To me it sounds like you are arguing that the recruit ranking services are run by professional evaluators and that calling them amateurs is equivalent to calling French an amateur film analyst. The problem with your argument is that French is, in fact, an amateur film analyst.

I cannot defend Marcb2's comment on the amateurism of the recruiting service contributors because I do not know whether or not they are considered professional evaluators. I have to believe that if they are supporting themselves/families on their evaluations alone that they would have to be deemed professionals. Their accountability would also influence their success. If they do it on the side and have other means of income I would consider them amateurs and their accountability in this case isn't as important to them. Again, I don't know the case for them. I just think your argument is flawed on this point.

HERE

Here is a much better summary of what has gone down in regards this case. Originally it was only 14 people arrested, but now the US has increased the total number of people indicted to 39 people.

The Swiss have launched their own criminal investigation into Blatter and Platini that had a bigger effect on them being banned today.

The Germans also have launched a criminal investigation into members of their own Football Federation regarding bribes and the award of World Cups.

The idea is it's music. The vocals are usually treated as another instrument that suits the sound, and understanding the lyrics isn't always essential to that. I can understand most of the lyrics to this song, but I've been listening to this stuff for more than a decade.

Sorry I was saying that if he was going to say that the talent evaluators are amateurs then the same could be said for French. (I don't believe that, just based on the criteria given)

These guys breakdown film, go to recruiting camps, and watch the kids live. Then give an evaluation based on film they see and what they see in person.

However unlike French that's all these guys do. So by saying they are unaccountable amateurs, by that standard we should also take what French breaks down with a grain of salt. (Again I don't believe is the case and is a uninformed statement)

That's the idea,

So, let me get this straight...you're not supposed to be able to understand it? Alrighty then.

I think I'll stick with George Strait.

Section 13 is missing popular metalcore band iwrestledabearonce (yes it's supposed to be written that way). They're known in the American metal community for their spastic blend of genres and bizarre song titles.

That's the idea, I know it's an acquired taste. I like iwrestledabearonce because they don't take themselves too seriously. They used to sell this shirt after someone left this phrase as a comment on one of their videos early on.

Professionals in their own right. It's the same thing as film breakdown from French. They are film analysts that go to recruit camps and all star games that give the kids ratings.
