I'm partial to Rhetorik namely because he's my son....haha. As far as how he represents VT, he will never put himself (or the university) in the position of being portrayed in a negative light. He works with Logic because he's (Logic) a nice kid and you would never guess he grew up in a household with drug addicted parents and was basically homeless before the age of 18. The reason you would never know of his background is because he is very nice, polite, articulate.....and, he doesn't drink or do any kind of drugs....smoking cigarettes is about his only vice.

While his music isn't 100% clean, he's not our there preaching violence, drugs etc....which is automatically assumed when you say "hip hop" or "rap". He's just into making good music that his fans really like and promotes being a good person. He stayed at our house the night before they performed at the NORVA last spring and all they did was hang out, eat food, watch movies and play some video games...nothing wild and crazy.

He's just a 16-year-old kid with eyeballs on him trolling us. He just wrote to a current player at FSU, "Can't wait to link in Doak". I'm sure he got what he wanted out of it... a few Twitter followers and people talking about him on message boards.

I've got to say, I enjoyed their coverage quite a bit more than I ever do on ESPN3. I geeked out and had the game on the ipad alternating between mute and low while updating twitter via phone in hand. I saw a few comments about the mic level and never noticed the Radford sound. For me, not having to fire up xbox to use ESPN3 is always a plus. Also, their stream didn't seem to use a lot of bandwidth so never had any lag (though I wouldn't have wanted to blow the stream up any larger than ipad).

It is literally the only print that is not taken during a game

I see why you changed it. We can't see enough of the field to see if there is a game going on.

Was that one of the "Fire Al Golden" aircraft?

When they last voted, only Clemson, FSU and Duke were opposed to a 9 game schedule. GT voted in favor of it, and BC, UNC, and us gave no opinion. It isn't as hated as many believe. And I think if schools looked at scheduling now and revisited the vote, you'd see a different result.

As you said Brian, we can't use the Radford game towards our "Bracketology" with a win, but the way I see it they can't use it against us since we didn't lose the game unlike Penn State and Georgetown. That to me is progress, win the games you are suppose to win. I'm not expecting tournament bids, but nothing wrong with playing hard and dreaming. Great write up.

But the point I think most folks are missing is that going to the Belk Bowl was punching above our weight class.

Take out Frank's last game, and we're just another 6-6 team. We're also the last of the ACC bowl eligible teams.

Even if the ACC had a strict list system of bowls, where the tier 1 bowls all picked in a row, instead of huddling up, we'd still be in the Independence Bowl, because no one else wanted Pitt, but Pitt had to be chosen before VT.

What if VT had hired Nick Saban in 2000? Or maybe it's more realistic to say Mark Richt or Les Miles.
