High praise from one of the best football minds out there:
Virginia Tech's hire of Justin Fuente is excellent. Also, I am pretty sure he invented the Inverted Veer/Power Read: https://t.co/plcPTlYJpb— Chris B. Brown (@smartfootball) December 1, 2015
Don't forget DJ Reid either.
That article may be my favorite of everything I have read regarding the coaching situation.
I'm excited to have Fuente. I'm excited to have Foster.
But to have Fuente want Foster, Foster want Fuente, and both want to win a lot of games at VT makes me super happy and excited and I can't wait to see what this program is like in two years from now.
Well played, Sir.
Yeah, Bud talked about that a bit on TTL tonight. We love you, Bud!
Yes, but they will be painting scenes from our Championship.
Damn that is awesome.
The PSU folks are already falling all over themselves after hearing that, since they just fired their disaster of an OC a day or two ago
Does this mean we'll be wearing a version of these in 1-2 years?
/s (but also kinda serious)
Go Navy!!!
Damn I really choked it up the last two weeks
I wouldn't have noticed this but cds7c has been keeping tabs on things with comments. I think that he went 3-4 last week and that we have a 3 way tie for first place.
I don't know where to put this link, maybe it has already been posted, but everyone should absolutely read this:

I saw a post earlier today that referred to some of the things in this story: Bud being put on a plane to go meet the mystery coach and Whit not wanting to give Bud a token interview, but this whole article by Teel is a must-read for all of us.
Don't forget about the RBs we have that were injured this year, or Deshawn McClease. We are legit four deep with talented running backs, and that doesn't even count Sam Rogers or the Peoples Champion
How do so many teams, coaches and fans do this every 2-4 years?!?! So many thoughts about the guys who have poured their lives into making the Hokies the team they are today. I know some guys will move on whether because they don't fit the new mold, get better job offers or other things in real life but I don't have to enjoy the sausage making process.
Thank you, Cornell, for all you have done. If you ever want to work at a barn, I can provide a solid reference.
I tweeted that reminder. Changes needed to be made. However, for people to cheer when folks are losing their jobs and their families are being displaced during the holidays... that just isn't cool.
This needs to be linked to the Inside Jokes thread
The only way the Frank Beamer Coaching Tree will grow is if these coaches get out there and make a name for themselves elsewhere. I really hope it happens, because Frank deserves to see his guys succeed in their careers.
Zero OL on the 4 teams. That speaks to the success of our offense. (Note: imagine where Travon would've been if Shane had figured out he was our only RB to run forward prior version to the 5th or 6th game?)
Two defensive players total...and finished top-30. Imagine if Foster had a full deck.
Zero ST players.
run, run, pick six you mean?
And force those INTs.

Heard a rumor that the top eight were going to be disqualified for cheating. That's what the #SOURCES say, at least.
Edsel lot of imagery.

I talked to my good friend who is a Pitt grad about it last week, and it sounds like if the staff was good enough for everyone to like, they wouldn't be let go. Otherwise no one really cares because they weren't around long enough to really do anything. I asked how Pitt manages with a new coach so often and he straight up said there were four years where he didn't even know who the coach was.
I can't imagine the state of emotions around here if this happened every few years.
