It was directed at everyone, but that was the best place in the thread to put it. Not intended to come across harsh, sorry.

To everyone: Joey's paid peanuts to do what he does. Throughout the season he delivered extremely comprehensive reports and solid articles. There will be grammatical errors and typos. The way to fix that is for TKP to hire a full time editor, full time beat reporter and full time copy editor. Those require financial resources TKP does not have. If typos or grammatical errors bother you, consider financially supporting TKP. Or just ignore them and enjoy the content we do provide at the cost of $0.00.

I may be young, but I can sense the humility of the leadership at Virginia Tech is something I may never see again.

From Frank, to Whit, to Bud to now Justin Fuente, they've been much greater role models in the way they have handled themselves off the field than any winning season ever could be.

As a current student, I have the utmost respect for Dr. Sands. Even with the last few months of let's call "elevated racial tensions" across the country, he has launched inclusion initiatives and sent out numerous emails calming things and reminding students of what it means to be apart of the Virginia Tech community.

Just wanted to point out some of the non-sports related reasons to extend appreciation for those who are no longer students who may not see that side of it.

MARK RICHTS GOING TO BE VIRGINIA TECHS NEXT OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR. He basically declared it in his press conference. He said he wanted to get back to hands on coaching calling plays and working with QBs, I don't know how more transparent he could be, he basically is on the plane to Blacksburg already.

But in all honesty. I don't think I've seen a classier press conference and it was from a guy who just got fired from what he declared his "dream job". Georgia's AD just put a 12 month contract on his head, when they don't win 10 games next year guess who Bulldawg nation is coming after?

Pretty certain the OSU game was the first time we have used it. I agree, I get serious chills when it comes on, the crowd is clapping along, and they show the team walking out. It's also going to be a fun song to break out at the tailgate after I'm drunk enough to try to sing it. Props to whoever introduced it to the pregame festivities.

We've used it when the team is starting to walk out from the locker room in the stadium... I love it. It's a perfect pre-intro song.

I'm sure that most followers of the VT Twitter account (and VT recruiting targets) don't give a duck pond full of goose crap what color "collar" the account maintainer is trying to flaunt. It needs to be relatable.. And your approach to marketing the university brand, especially on social media, is dated and laughable.

Edit: #HotFire #RealTalk

Mrs TDHokies was hoping he would give one person an A- during the press conference.

Or "whoever leaked the hire, F- job."

Hyping a 2nd string OL (e.g. Will Montgomery

Hey now Will was the starter until he got hurt, give the man some credit.

Re: Cornell

Looks like he's launched (or relaunched?) a personal website: http://www.cornellbrown.com/

At the bottom of the 'Coaching Career' portion of his bio, it states:

Brown was an Outside Linebackers Coach/Assistant Defensive Line Coach at Virginia Tech under the dynamic duo Frank Beamer and Bud Foster, beginning in 2011 and ending in 2015, at the end of the Beamer Era.

That's probably as close to a certainty we'll get that he won't be retained until an official announcement.

Sources pegged Fuente's new offer from Memphis a few weeks back as being comparable or greater than Tom Herman's recently approved at Houston which was ~$3M. So don't think there was possibility of getting him much cheaper.
