How is Motley unproven? He showed great glimpses this year with his decision making and passing. He rallied the team back against NCST. We also have two highly touted Sophomore QBs and a great incoming Freshman (if he doesn't transfer).

Sure, we will miss Brewer's swagger and his personality, but the cupboard doesn't look like it did post Logan Thomas.

The chances of them getting left in the cold holding their dicks is much greater than landing a quality head coach. They're very likely going to be dumpster diving, picking up the cold leftovers that nobody else wanted. With Georgia, Miami, USCe, USCw, Mizzou, Syracuse, and Maryland all open, its going to be tough for them to pick up anyone who could conceivably be considered a Tier 1 or Tier 2 coach this offseason. Good chance they'll be battling it out with Rutgers and possibly Indiana for the best of the Tier 3 guys. Yes, UVa has money. That's all they have. Their fan support is awful, their facilities are meh, their administrative support is bad, and they haven't beaten their in state rival in 12 years, and it doesn't appear to be changing anytime soon. And even worse, their in state rival just hired one of the best young coaches in the game while keeping arguably the best defensive coach in the game.

Even in the bad ACC Coastal, this is a job set up for failure.

Richt unlikely to pursue another coaching job.

5. Richt plans to coach Georgia in its bowl game. He has no plans to pursue any other head coaching vacancy this offseason, per numerous people close to him, and has been invited to stay on at UGA in some capacity. While Richt's statement yesterday did not address that, he will almost certainly remain active in the Paul Oliver Network, a program to help former Georgia players transition into the real world once their football days are over. It's long been a pet project for Richt.

My fear is we're losing a lot more with Brewer gone than most now realize. The most important guy in the game, the general, will be an unproven commodity next season (unless a surprise transfer of an experienced QB occurs). QBs as tough as Brewer are few and far between, so if we're still having/starting with OL issues, it might not be pretty.

This caught my eye:

Doug Nussmeier, Florida Offensive Coordinator - Has bounced around a lot in recent years, but always to big name schools. Alabama's offense under him clicked with QB A.J. McCarron, and Florida's resurgence in the SEC East has been largely thanks to finding some semblance of offense.

Guess they didn't watch the FSU-UF game. Or any UF game this year. Their offense is bad, as in 92nd in the country (scoring) and 104th (total) bad.

Usually after we beat UVA, I tend to glance at The Sabre to see the meltdowns. With Mike London resigning, it was a gold mine of amusement. Seriously, someone thought they could maybe get Art Briles or Gary Patterson. Now they are talking Mack Brown (please, oh please, take him. It'd be so UVA to get a has-been and we'd no longer have to hear Mack say everything is a "speed sweep" on TV) among others. The thing about this situation is that it was the best move for Mike London and the worst move UVA could afford to have happen. Now, Mike London can be picked up by Memphis or some other small school and UVA has to compete with all the other programs with openings after the big dogs have already fed on the best candidates. Glad we picked up Fuente when we did.

Contract details are coming out, can't embed on phone.

3.2 million salary for Fuente, base of 500,000 rest 2.7, is supplemental. Staff salary is 3.4 million approved, can be upped with school approval.

Can someone embed Andy Bitter tweets?

I had some trouble last year when I first signed up, and I didn't receive anything either. Turns out they sent everything to my parents address because that's what Tech had in their records, even though I signed up for the Hokie Club using my current address. I went back in the old hokie spa and changed my address in there so now most things go to the address.
