Cause she's hot and someone is turning her down.....

But in theory there is always someone out there tired of her shit!

I know it's probably not possible, but I wish we could get a JUCO guy by the name of CJ Reavis.

And Lambert left UVA because... never mind, the analogy breaks down there. He left because it was LOLUVA. Whoops!

For me, the most memorable play is the scrum play. Big momentum changer an exemplifies hokie football and what it takes to win.

I'm pretty sure Fuente will use his own twitter account just like Williams does. I think the VT football twitter has done a good job. It's important that it has a younger voice since, like big daddy said, the target audience includes recruits as well as students and the rest of Hokie Nation.

I'm not dead set against it, but as a general rule, you're bringing in a new guy for two years instead of 4-5. I'd *prefer* to take true freshmen and develop them in-house, so they're fully immersed in the system and develop chemistry with the team.

Some guys are definitely worth it. But that's more scouting, more recruiting, and overall just more hours in the day for the coaching staff.

Most people like to test drive before they buy these days...I think Tim is going to find it harder and harder to find someone willing to marry him before getting a taste of what they're locking themselves into. That being said, I hope he finds someone eventually. He's a nice guy, at least outwardly.

I don't completely agree with getting rid of the younger voice however it needs to change. It seems forced and unfunny, like someone who is older trying to sound young.

But I say don't abandon the younger voice completely as twitter has a younger audience. For example I as a Philly fan follow their teams and last season the @Sixers account was on of the best in social media, quick highlights/GIFs to go with funny interactions with fans/other teams/ect. While the @phillies was just delayed score updates and outdated info. It was boring, it wasn't any information I didn't already know, and frankly it had no value as a follow.

So yes it needs to relax, be funnier and don't make up random hashtags that aren't consistent, but don't be boring. Look at last years sixers (I think the guy got promoted, it's not as good this year) or Cubs or Astros accounts. They do it right.

A pay board. SL isn't a very personable individual from everything I've read about him and DL has pretty much been in the dog house for much of this season.

I agree. I think in the current climate of CFB it's generally regarded standard practice to give a coach 4-5 years. Fuente turned perennial door-mat Memphis into a 10-win team with limited resources and starting with next to nothing in his 3rd year. That's remarkable. He has considerably more to work with in Blacksburg. I believe he's capable of getting us to 8 or 9 wins fairly easily next year (our schedule is a joke) but if we only win 5-6 games next year I'm not going to lose my mind over it. New coaches deserve time to get their pieces in place. It should be a fun ride though. I think Fuente is wise to keep Bud on staff. I'm not at all surprised by that move, though, since he hired previous head coaches when he started his career as such in Memphis. His reasoning was that they had been there before and they would have been through some things that he hadn't been through yet. That is pure wisdom and forward thinking on his part. I think he's going to be very successful. I hope that he falls in love with VT to the point where he won't be torn away by some 'blue blood' program.

The audience for @VT_Football is 16-18 year olds; you have to have a young voice.

I'm sure Coach Fuente will be more likely to handle his own twitter account than delegating it out like Coach Beamer.

Hell, I could meet you in the middle. He wants to be a HC, but he wants to see how Fuente runs things. If he likes it, he'll stay, if he doesn't, he'll bolt. Either way, I still stand by my previous statement. Bud staying (for now) is the smart move until something else comes up (not Whit magic).

That being said, Whit deserves all the credit in the world for getting Fuente. He's one of the few candidates that I would consider to be consistent with Whit's philosophy. If we were going to hire someone with HC experience, I don't think 1 year makes the difference. Fuente's 4 years make sense. Tom Herman/Chad Morris having only one year under their belts didn't make them significantly better candidates than Bud.

Nah, back in our day we had to scrap for every turkey leg by posting copious amounts of times no matter the quality of the comment. We reposted Emma Watson dancing and Kyle Fuller wearing a Hokie stone helmet and high-fiving the ref...and we liked it. Nowadays you gotta come up with quality OC like what we see here.
