Ditto!
definitely don't park there unless you're gonna go west on 460 (which you're not). Even when though it is easy access to the Price's fork exit on 460, you still have to go back through the southgate intersection on your way out of town. Park somewhere you can get on 460 at the south main/CRC exit. I honestly think chicken hill lot or somewhere in the CRC would be great for getting out. Just head out ramble road (or whatever it's called these days) and hop on 460 on the other side of the CRC.
Great Article by Brewer. I wonder if he's pushing for VT to hire Morris, or at least spoken to Whit about what it's like to play for him.
The connection between Morris and VT is pretty strong. I don't know why the media hasn't run with that story yet. Instead, they run with RichRod and Fuente, where the connection is not nearly as strong.
Give me Fuente/Herman or give me death!
the parking garage at Kent square might cost a few bucks, but I've never had trouble getting out to 460 (and a few of those games I've had to drive back to Ohio like you).
The garage was full for OSU this year but even parking at the old Middle School wasn't enough to get me out of that traffic
Hey palsy!
I think route to 81 is more important that parking lot. Even if you get a spot right next to a quick road out, you've got to counter that with the time it would take to walk to the car.
In my experience, 460 turns into a parking lot immediately after games. So even if you hightail it across campus right away and jump in the car, you're just stuck in traffic on 460 and most of the roads leading to it.
Since you're going south on 81, you do have the option to try to get on from an exit south of the 118. Either take Main Street into C-Burg, where it becomes Franklin Street, and then take that to C-burg's Main St. If you take a right, you'll be headed towards exit 114, a left would put you at the 118, which is probably still going to be a mess.
Another option that might be significantly more miles, but actually be quicker (because who would need to go the long way?) would be to keep going down Prices Fork Rd. You can either get on Peppers Ferry to come back into C-burg, or be really bold and take it all the way out to Rt 11 and maneuver around Radford, and get either onto exit 109 or 105. Or even keep going south on 11 to Dublin, and jump back on at the 100.
Well said Brewer! College football needs more coaches like Frank Beamer indeed. I'm glad I met the man in person. Let's hope the next coach incorporated some of Beamer's qualities.
South main neighborhood street parking (preston av, gracelyn ct., etc.)
I know there is parking at the Golf Course near the Inn.
Let's not forget he catches rattlesnakes too.
Well assuming you don't already have a parking pass, public lots are your only option (unless you know someone with parking passes to each lot?????) So the commuter lot I guess and then get on 460 toward the interstate via Prices Fork?
Also, I've heard there will be pre AND post game recognition for Beamer, not saying you shouldn't leave right away if you have to, but I'd hate for you to miss a once in a life time ceremony or something you weren't aware was going to happen.
I'll take a shot in the dark and say Sumlin.

In my experiences unless you leave early the best way to get out quick is to park closer to south main on those backstreets. Running there bypasses traffic and you're close to 460. It can be a long walk if you get unlucky and have to park super far away, but its always a (relative) easy exit.
Fuente or Morris.
Bowl revenues are not shared between ND and the ACC. Its a two way street since we do not have to share our bowl money with them.
See above, apparently I was wrong. My bad.
Supposedly there will be an "event" after the game for Beamer in Lane. So if you leave as soon as the game is over you might have a decent head start on a large segment of the crowd.
Scot Loeffler **ducks**

In all honesty, my heart says Herman but my head says Fuente.
Martin (Cam and Orion)
Schuman (Ryan and Mark)
My source has confirmed 100% that Wit will evaluate a few candidates and ONLY ONE will be named head coach to replace Beamer.

Harsin or Patterson
Peyton Manning
Here is the ACC Bowl Round Up

pretty sure the OP is trying to get to Atlanta, not Ohio
