Then he sits down at your table and says, "sorry, did you guys want one?"
ME

One is for you, the rest are for....
DAMN IT. DON'T TEMPT FATE. DIDN'T MY ERROR TEACH US ANYTHING!
Steve Sarkisian
too soon?
I honestly thought Grimes was a good coach and was upset when he left. I also think Searels is a good coach. Since I think both are level and Searels is the guy currently at VT, then I like Searels better.
Regardless, the only thing we know for certain is that both are better than Curt Newsome.

Excellent! This response made me laugh especially hard because the lady and I had a nostalgia movie night this past weekend and watched this movie. Well played, sir.
Per Bruce Taylor's (protected) twitter: himself, Dyrell Roberts, Cody Journell, and Andrew Miller will be there.
Sure, but you could also say that well executed blocking is necessary for a back (even one as good as Fournette) to reach their potential.
Foster does no recruiting whatsoever.
It's ridiculous to think that Bud does not recruit or that he doesn't think recruiting is important.
Wasn't me
EDIT:

Yes! Yes! I want Chip Kelly at VT! Pant, pant, pant...
Fuente was one missed field goal away from beating a team that has considerably more star power on it
Because obviously everyone's reason for "Frank needs to go" is because 2 / 3 star guys aren't enough for our fanbase. s/
Understood, but why is that a requirement for him to be a great fit at VT?
Eh, I'm not entirely convinced Loeffler is a "great offensive mind". I think we hold him in high regard as he's definitely better at playcalling than the guy who preceded him (Stinespring) at offensive coordinator.
Overall Loeffler did an okay job this year (especially given the circumstances), but frankly in the college football landscape I don't see him as much more than average. I'd take someone like Herman over him in a heartbeat, and frankly from what i've seen I think Morris and Fuentes are both better as well. Hell look at Fuentes has done with his offense (even against the likes of Ole Miss), and that's with a quarterback that was a 2 star recruit (Paxton Lynch) and their top 3 receivers being former walk ons.
And honestly, I think it's a bit unfair to criticize Fuentes's recruiting too harshly. He inherited a dumpster fire of a program (arguably one of the worst if not the worst in fbs) when he took over. He had to bring in a ton of walk ons to be able to fill out the roster as they literally didn't have enough players and he knew he couldn't sign a class of 40 guys in one year (obviously already talked about in depth in this column). He was also a relative unknown in SEC country where the pull of schools like Alabama, Auburn and LSU with way more prestige, success, and resources would be very present and very tough to compete with. The fact that he has been reeling in classes with 3 star recruits I don't think is really such a negative given the context. And I don't think you ignore that the guy has brought a program like that and turned them into a 10 win team so quickly. That's an extremely impressive accomplishment that should not be ignored.
Bud recruitted McMillan, Teller, and Enkanem. Seems like he's doing okay
Because it is a lot easier to win with great recruiting classes
I can tell you from experience, some of the "lower level athletic department employees" can be major gate keepers of information. Take a guy like Bruce Garnes for example, no one I know in that building is more connected and he is essentially an EA. I think you would be shocked at how much of a small intimate office setting the VT athletic department is. It is a major business office in which you literally see the CEO (Whit Babcock) on a daily basis, he isn't tucked away in some super exclusive executive wing of some campus sized corporation building. Word travels very fast and loose among the employees in Jamerson and Merryman.
To me the real question is how current the information is that these sources have, it might not be accurate now, ya know what I mean?

They also have Fournette.
Being 6'1", 230 lbs and 4.35 forty, he'd make a lot of run game coordinators look good.
Similar to how Tyrod was the reason Stiney was a OC for so long. As soon as Tyrod left, it took 1 year before Frank had to replace him
you're just mad that you are already out of the running

Journell should wear glasses and a rubber nose so he's not recognized.
