Thoroughly agree with you on Fuente. His work has been a masterpiece over there. Just getting anyone with any type of talent to come to Memphis is a huge accomplishment. They couldn't even get enough players to fill the roster 5 years ago. You think that would happen at our school? If any of us had kids who were 3-5 star recruits in high school would we push them to go to Memphis? LOL. And no disrespect meant to that school or city but Seriously....just say it out loud. Hell we celebrate all the time landing 3 star recruits....as well we should. But all of a sudden the kids with similar ratings that we tout getting to Blacksburg because they are "our kind of guys" are considered recruiting failures when he got them to come to freaking Memphis. Good lord. Have any of you that are saying he cant recruit ever been to Memphis and it's campus? He is literally working with squat there in terms of resources and prestige of the school football program compared to what he could have here. And he is winning and beating way better teams and programs than we have in years.

Looking at Rivals, Herman was the recruiter for JT Barrett (4 star), Corey Smith (4 star), Dontre Wilson (4 star), and Mike Mitchell (5 star) at Ohio State in 2013.

Morris is listed to a few for Clemson but Clemson seems to have a handful of good recruiters and it hasn't been just one guy.

Usually, Head Coaches aren't listed as the recruiter, so you probably won't find much on Rich Rod. Same for Fedora, who has been a head coach at UNC and Southern Miss for some time.

Fuente can only do but so much at Memphis and it's already been noted that he's succeeding with 2/3* guys.

Morris, supposedly single handedly, landed Deshaun Watson, who was the #1 QB recruit in 2014

Herman, within a few months of being at Houston, dramatically increased the star rankings with three 4* (rivals) this year.

However, I barely follow recruiting enough to answer some of your questions for our current staff, much less for guys that I paid no attention to before we started looking for a new Head Coach.

tariq Edwards was pretty unhappy with the fact that he had been trying to get tickets for a couple weeks and no one would get him any. he had a ticket donated by a fan. this info is per his FB. I was shocked that ANY ex player couldn't just reach out and get a sideline pass or something. but what do I know lol.

ohhh boy I cant wait to play beamer 2016 time for EA to do something for college football again anyways right?!?!

I always think (or hope) this too but the times when mot was the starter and he ran the lil fake qb dive where he looks to almost take a knee and then pull back to out to make the throw (the ole tebow move) it looks to slow and robotical that the defense either reads it easily or has time to recover and its never quite as open as we or maybe just I think (or hope again) that it should be.
