I want us to put up 60+. It always pains me when we play FCS or other small programs and only manage 27 points. I want pure dominance and I want Lawson to play the entire second half of the game.

6'6" 230 lbs, accurate passer, runs like a WR. Motley's leash has to be shorter than Matt Williams' memory.

(That's a Nationals joke for the unfamiliar. You'll just have to trust that it's very accurate.)

Great article and very welcome analysis and video clips! Good to see, I am still optimistic about the season IF we can find a quarterback who is ready to lead.

Even though the ending sucked, we hung with them right up until MB's injury and if Brewer had not been injured I think we would have taken them to the wire. Not sure if we would have won, but it would have been close.

Agreed, I was disappointed with Motley's showing but am really hoping he gets it together for Furman.

I think Motley gets all or most of the first half against Furman to show if he can lead the offense. 2nd half it's time for Durkin/Lawson to show what they can do in mop up time or if we are not up by 3 touchdowns or more at the half to see who is ready to takeover.

In my other League I face Brady and Gronk when they play the Deadskins, can I just give up now?

...someone in the running back room needs to start bringing the juice. Once defenses overcommit to stop the running back before he gets going, then Loeffler can go to the drawing board and have some fun getting guys open down the field in the pass game again.

Hear, hear preacher. This will be the only way forward for this offense sans Brewer. With Brewer, Loeffler passed to open up the run. Gotta flip that now.

I was worried we were going to give up points again before the half when we punted that. our defense has always had issues under 2 min in a game. we give up big chunks of yardage in what usually looks like the prevent. that WAS a HUGE turn around and allowed us to stay in the game and actually take the lead into the half. it reminded me a little bit of when RU muffed the punt against Bama, the OSU fan next to me said that was Eliot's 1st punt return ever (idk if that is true or not) but that because of suspensions he was back there when he normally would not have been.

Me: "Where are we, a Utes game?"

I was in 9th grade, I walked into my US Government class after hanging out with my friends in the hallway. I was one of the last people in the room, the first thing I saw when I entered was my teacher crying at his desk, and blank stares on the everyone's faces. The entire classroom was watching the live stream, the first building had just collapsed when I walked in. We were sent home 30 minutes later. Spent the rest of the day glued to the TV with my family. Will never forget GWBush's speech that evening...Say what you want about the man, but at age 14, I was ready to strap on some boots.

Not much to say here other than, do it up, team. Motley is going to surprise us and show some dual threat ability. Lawson too; want to see the future in action, but I'm secretly hoping he gets served a little humbling.

Go Hokies!

Im trying really hard to make it a thing. That was a classic by BeerControl. Had me rolling

I went against Gronk in one of my three leagues (not TKP) but I actually still have a good chance of being competitive in the matchup. Now if you go against Gronk AND Brady like Jugs mentioned....

The world needs to know if this is a T. Edmunds week, a Tr. Edmunds week, or a full-blown Tre. Edmunds week.

At what point do we begin asking how many Edmunds-es the foe of the week has?

There's a documentary called "102 Minutes That Changed America" that I think everyone needs to watch. Its absolutely gut wrenching and will bring most people to tears, which is exactly why people need to watch it. Almost all of us have no idea how it really felt when all of that went down, and this documentary makes it real.

Thank you but what I do is easy compared to what the brothers in NYC had to do that day.

I could not imagine riding in that truck crossing that bridge heading to that.
