I can't help but shake HorseOnATreadmill's, ahem, unbridled optimism that the team which lost the OSUvsVT matchup last year went on to win the National Championship.

Still holding the Hokies to this, until proven otherwise.

*please don't prove otherwise, kthxbai

Lawson does stand out in a crowd. If the plan is really not to use a redshirt, I'd like to see him in this week.

I'll let Motley show me something. I like the kids guts and he has some wiggle to him as a runner. Since this will be our first real test in seeing him pass, I remain optimistic.

Lays > Utz.

But Ruffles >>>>> both of them.

Carry on.

Great pics man! The HT drum major is a friend of mine, and he loved the pic, but was curious about whether or not he could get a copy without the watermark. Is that something you could do?

I think it's pretty much guaranteed that if Brewer remains in the game, every single play after the injury would have been different. Any big plays that did happen would have happened differently.

It's the whole "if you run that red light, the rest of your day is different" argument.

After all, I still have four years of eligibility left...

Great pics. Those helmets look a lot better up-close than they did from the stands! My thoughts on them are back to a thumbs-up.

Most OSU fans we experienced on game day were great and there was a mutual respect. We sat in the retirement west stands, and after that last OSU TD, two cocky, loud buckeyes started taunting Hokies leaving the stadium. Fights almost broke out. But a couple of older buckeyes around us shouted at them, telling the young bucks to shut the hellup and everyone started ignoring the trolls. Doesn't change how big of d-bags they were, but I had to applaud those buckeye faithful for trying to keep a standard with those guys, when the easiest approach would be to not say anything.

And the Cardale tweet ran up me that night...and the day after. I steamed about it, as it was a pretty classless d*** move. But after reading Kendall's response, & time to absorb Monday's game, I'm totally fine with it now. He's young/immature & he plays for a HC that seems to not condemn or condone that extracurricular behavior.

But man, all and all, what an amazing experience being in Lane Monday night. It's easy to focus on the negatives (the Brewer injury, 2nd half, the what ifs, now what??) but honestly, Monday in Blacksburg was by far one of the greatest days in football I've ever experienced. From the tailgates to Enter Sandman to going into the half with the lead, everything about it was perfect (sans the 2nd half) and what I hoped for all off season. Great to be a Hokie.

Can we save the bathroom humor for a local 2nd grade playground, where it rightfully belongs?

Fowler looks like the guy who wears socks with sandals...at the beach

How in the world did you get such a closeup of HD's butt?

I tweeted this sarcastically last night, but it may not be THAT far from the truth:

Bruce Fowler is a frequent member of the Gucci Kroger!
